  1. Course, quite hard to miss all those lolcats
  2. Haha.......didn't I I felt obliged to point it out........
  3. Heatsink yellows for smooth and ground rims, enough said!
  4. That's an 07. How much are you paying for it, if you don't mind me asking?
  5. Does it have a built in (triangular shape) brake booster and a plain headtube (ie, doesn't have Zoo! stamped in it)?
  6. Sure that isn't just an 07 model, bought in 08?
  7. Is that last photo, just off the bottom of the ring road (across from the multi-story car park)?
  8. What year Python are you buying? Got a picture of the frame? Most Pythons are are longer than other 'long' mods, for example, mine measures something like 1050/1055mm with Echo Lites. It rides really nicely though and doesn't feel as heavy as it is. I'm sure you'll enjoy riding it, hope I've helped . Edit: Beaten to it . That 07 should ride well
  9. +1. My brake is working the best it has ever done (using yellows, CNC backings on a light grind). Go for the CNC backings, they may seem a lot of money at first but refills are really cheap and after 1-2 sets of refill pads, they will have paid for themselves, plus they give a much more solid feel when pulling the lever .
  10. Are your mounts faced? If not, get it done, really improves the feel of the brake.
  11. Air freshener spray (like, Glade etc.) spray a little inside the grip then twist the grip onto the bar so that it can work it's way round, then wait a few mins and it will stay in place. Did this with mine and they havn't moved in weeks of riding .
  12. Browse through the For Sale section on here. £400 will buy you a really decent spec bike!
  13. Condition depends..............Either on here, eBay etc.
  14. I bought some Echo Lite's off here for £20 posted, so, no. Not a fantastic deal. EDIT: Great minds ^^^.........
  15. On here! Have a browse in the for sale section, nearly always some bargains to be had .
  16. Yeah, I was heading to Syn with my flatmates when I heard you guy's shout 'Tartybikes for the win' at me (obviously I was wearing my Tarty Tee ). What's the riding like in Derby? I've just started at Derby uni as well and have been considering bringing my bike down........drop me msg on here or summat......
  17. Were you riding what looked like an Echo Control in the town centre (near the Friary/Varsity) on Monday night?
  18. I believe Gage-man was refering to Onza as a company. Craig made the video to show the head guy's at Onza how he was doing with the proto frame..................
  19. Mine skipped a little when it was fairly new as well.......works really well now I've serviced it, cleaning out the old grease and lubing it with thin oil. Engagement is positive as ever, sounds a little louder but most importantly, NO skips! .
  20. Yeah, asked the guy about the brakes. He still has the original sets that he took off and will include. I'll see how the auction goes......
  21. A MTB may well be better butI'll only be commuting short distances, plus I'll be keeping it in my room at uni as well. This is what I found on ebay earlier, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-Wethepeople-Nova-...=item255700b9da Seems ok for £100?
  22. Rightio, after debating about bringing my python down to uni and asking on here I have decided to just buy a cheap bmx to use for commuting........However, I know little to nothing about bmx's. I have found a Wethepeople Nova (08 model) for sale, my question is; Are these decent bikes and how much would I expect to pay for one second hand in good condition? (I have a budget of around £100 if this helps!) Thanks in advance .
  23. Yeah, the Monty rear tyre is a beast. Really bouncy with low pressure but without the wallowy sidewall squirm when you land at an angle. Depending on how long it lasts (the rubber feels much softer than the Maxxis) will determine how good value it is but so far I'm impressed by it lol.
