  1. The A3 is the heaviest out of all my choices, I really am stuck between the Team, Lite and Czar. I ahv ebeen told the Czar didn't ride quite nice too but it's down to personally preference though. I just wish I can try all these frames first.
  2. Hi, Just sold my GU tp as I don't like how long it is. In its current setup, it measures 1045-1050mm. If the wheel is pushed as far in as possible on the dropouts it would be 1030mm. And it's set up as short as possible, any shorter and I won't be able to put the chain on. Or I can have the wheel in as far as possible and use some kind of sprung tensioner for the chain but it would still be 1030mm which is still too long for my liking. I have these short mod frames in mind. Czar 07 1005mm, Echo Team 07 1015mm, Echo Lite 07 (if I can find a 4-bolt version for sale), Adamant A3 1005mm and maybe a GU LE 1020mm, Neon 20" 1000mm and Zhi ZM1/B 1005mm (looks pretty strong too). I had a go on a Xtp 2 which was 1000mm or 1005mm and I loved how short it was, when I went back to my TP it felt so damn odd and bring up the front wheel seemed so much more effort. What I want to ask is for the people who has ridden any of the frames above to give me some feedback on the frame they had. Like did it suit you, it was good for taps or sidehops or it just rides like poop. Now I have only been riding for 3 months but I'm sure long frames 1030mm upwards are just not right for me so your opinions on those frames would really help me in deciding which one to get. I don't go and bash everything with my bike and I probably will never snap a frame. But I would like to know if those frames are strong. Weight wise, my TP is about the max weight I would buy on a frame but I would like something lighter. Right now the Czar is the most likely one and becuase it's the cheapest I've seen. Or its the Echo Lite 07 if I can find a 4-bolt version for sale. I need help in deciding on which one, as I haven't tried most of these frames and I don't want to end up buying a frame I don't like. 3. I use uTorrent myself. Speed greatly depends on the number of seeders, the people uploading to you, so generally speaking the more the better. But for that torrent in the pic, it has 35 seeders but you are only connected to 14 of them and out of 14 seeders, only 8 is/was uploading to you. But at the moment the screen shot was taken, only one seeder was uploading to you. Rather slow at 8kb/s. It's hard to say how fast it will download, most torrent programs has the option to let you choose your uploading speed (or their total upload speed=you download speed). Let me put it this way, you can be connected to 100 seeders whos upload speed are say 30kb/s (and assuming all 100 is uploading to you), but all of them has turned their upload speed to just 1kb/s, all you gonna get is a max download speed of 100kb/s when you have a potential download speed of 2000kb/s or 20Mb. But this will only go as high as your internet speed. Seeders come and go so that also affect your speed. Also the seeders with yellow bars have not completed the torrent themselves. Even if they are uploading to you at 100kb/s lets say, once they have uploaded what they have downloaded (say 50%), your download speed will drop until you connect to new seeders beyond the 50%. And yes, turn your upload speed down or off, you download speed will go up. Atleast you torrent isn't dead. Some lame seeders stop at 90% up but never 100% which means you never be able to complete it. New, popular torrents should be no problem. Older, less popular torrents, you probably won't get a very good download speed unless you are connected to some dedicated uploaders. Hope it helps!
  4. I have dust filters on all my in fans, 4 ins, 2 outs, all 120mm. And my PSU is not modular so I have this chunk of cable covering the bottom fan hole and will get cramped when I get my second GTX 260. I have to dust my insides out soon, fine dust still gets through the filters. I haven't seen the nvidia version with 2 side fans, show me!
  5. You should google that one, there a loads of things that can affect your ping. I second AVG, been using it for like 6-7 years? I use Zonealarm's free firewall instead of the Windows Firewall. And yes Firefox over IE anyday.
  6. except DSi exclusive software will be region locked just to let you know.

  8. Punched the wrong thing there?
  9. No. Games, get a thing called R4. You can download any game you want for the price of one retail game. If you are OK with the whole piracy thing. I have one myself, save me so much money.
  10. Unless you have super computer rage, why would you?

You mean taking money out of you paypal balance?
  12. Cos you paid so much for it you will be stupid not to take good care of it. But they are good quality builds.
  13. You won't notice much different in speed, when you add more ram vista will automatically use up a little bit more ram for more processes in the background that are more frequently used so you might notice the difference that way. And it really isn't that noticeable. But, the vista that comes with it is most likely 32-bit version which can use a limited amount of ram up to about 3.1GB ish so you potentially have 900MB wasted. If you want more ram I would only have 3GB max. More ram basically means being able to do more things at once or lots of the same things at once such as having 20 high solution opened in photoshop. For what you are doing its perfectly fine. Don't even bother trying to play new games on it.
  14. Just the processor yes, as Core 2's are 64 bit. But depends if the other hardware can take advantage of the 64 bit processor. Networking on vista is easy. What were you having problems with? I like Vista, missed XP though. I run a triple boot PC, Vista Ultimate x86 on one hard disk and Vista Ultimate x64 on another. XP on an old IDE hard disk, can't seem to get it to boot on a SATA II disk. I use x86 version mostly, web, music, work etc etc and x64 version for games and photo/video editing as I can use the full amount of my 4GB ram, where as I'm capped to just over 3GB on x86 version. XP......it's there just incase. I haven't had any hassle with drivers, except for one of my USB wifi adapters but I am connected with a ethernet cable now instead. Don't need atleast 3GB to run vista, unless you have LOADS of process running in the background. I had a old machine with 1GB ram and a P4 3GHz and it ran Vista Ultimate fine but I did turn off all the unnessary processes and it only used just under 450mb of ram not doing anything. And to you next question. Yes for any reason. Laptops are more problematic in my opinion. Since you carry it around with you and have a tendancy to drop things get the insurance. Most problems on laptops are software based and if its hardware based it is most likely inherent. But some idiots use their laptops on their laps, beds and block the cooling holes and end up frying the motherboard. Make sure you don't do that. And becuase you can't take out a bit of harware to see if its not working right, having insurance helps if you don't know how to do it.
  15. Long or short? Might be interested, I've after something a bit shorter than my tp.
  16. ... ... ... ... Oh my....that is a nice ECHO! White frames looks the best! Did it come in that colour?
  17. Ah, didn't find that topic through search. Updated repost then? Inur, all them frames in how many years?
  18. Hey all, I'm interested to know what everyone has had since they started riding trials. Doesn't have to be a proper trials frame. Also would like a little description why you changed frames. Snapped? Battered? Got bored of the frame? I'll start. 08 20" GU Typhoon - First trials bike, plus it was cheap as it came complete. Thanks! Savio

Bah...only if tarty takes back used (6 hours of use) things... Best looking mod ever!
  22. I can help you if you are stuck on some things! I spent days figuring out how to use this program, once you know what does what and learn the common hotkeys it makes the designing so much easier. The Notre Dame was the last proper paper model I made, don't know what to make now! But yeah, great program by Google. Everyone should have a go at it!
  23. Yo, Some things in here http://weirdoku.blogspot.com/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/weirdoku/sets...57605333887522/ Designed in Google Sketchup, made a paper model of it. Been using Sketchup for about 6 months, so much more simpler than 3dstudio max, great for papercraft models. Savio
