I'm thinking about getting a 09 neon bow but haven't heard much about them. I know chai has one and that's about it. Are they strong? Stronger than the 08s? And any idea if they are nice to ride? What are they good for, sidehops, gaps, taps, hooks?

Not all snail cams are crap. You should see how tight my chain is with the Echo Tr steel cams, they work better and has lasted longer than my last 2 set of trialtechs and another set of zhi cams. My wheels don't move either and my hubs use a M6 bolt. I think there was a reason why vince and gilles had loose chain tension which I can't remember why. What Matt Smith said. I still think M6 bolts are too small for an area where so much weight is put on. When I first saw the dropouts on the ice I was a bit wary of them not being very strong with them gaps in between, well guess what, they do snap like Seabass has said. Why couldn't it have been one solid bit of CNC? How much weight did them gaps really save? But seriously how many other frames with solid CNC dropouts you see has broke?

I didn't, I put a helicoil straight in. Bolt tightens up fine.

I've actaully did this to a mates frame. It was already tapped to M6 but I still put a helicoil in and to this day it still works.

I used to watch that shite. Now I do think it really is shite.
