  1. ^^^^^ I particularly liked this ^^^^^ (Just the phrase not the sentiment)
  2. Bwahahahhahahahahhahahaha! How Ossum is this shit? I have only read the last page, how the f**k did it come to this?
  3. Yes I'm pretty sure you want the +20 which will allow you to run a 160mm rotor. The wonky size on the koxx is a combination of the disc mount being in a non ISO position and the calliper being the same caliper a the 160mm front. So if you just mounted it to the frame you would need a 140mm disc. With the +20 it brings it up to 160mm. Best wait for someone else to confirm this.
  4. At that price you will have to look on ebay for something that isn't complete shite
  5. Thanks Mark et al. I wonder if it has to do with the large backings on the pads retaining heat and transferring it to the fluid. One thing I did notice was that the rotors didn't get so hot relative to the caliper.
  6. Mostly because the force will be on a smaller area, as in the bearings are narrower than the cups of a mtb bb.
  7. Ok so I was thinking about rotors and how their design (hole shape etc) effects their bite hold and heat dissipation. Anyone have any ideas on this. I noticed my Mono trials got hot as f**k when I did any distance downhill and that is what got me thinking. I am aware of vented discs I am talking about plain rotors.
  8. I was thinking about these type of BB and was wondering what you thought about them stretching the bb shell out (ovalising it). What do you think? Is it likely do you think? If you have one how has yours held up?
  9. The forks are not a problem, it's for the frame which is a giant trance x. I'm not sure which rotors I am going to run, hence the thread. Thanks
  10. Lolz, I dont really want to spend the money. Um so I gotta buy the rotor and adaptor and calliper/lever separately? I cant seen to find the adaptors
  11. I said this ages ago, I still think it.
  12. Awesome, thanks for the replies dudes. Another question: I have a post mount frame and I want to run 185 rotors. What is the score with post mounts in regards to rotor sizes? Thanks EDIT: well I thought I did till I saw this: Please klik What is it on about in the sizing options? 180mm post mount 6" ??? Thanks again.
  13. I was wondering which Hydro. Disc brakes would be good for all mountain riding. I am looking at formula atm but was wondering if cheaper alternatives are suitable. I would prefer ones with flip flop levers as I run my brakes arse backwards and cant be arsed with bleeding. Are Hope V2's suitable?. Also what size rotors? Thanks
  14. Cool, that's the answer I was looking for. Thanks
  15. Look at the picture smarty pants.
  16. Awesomeness, look how many 24's are in the bike pictures fforum, someone really needs to sort out tyres!
  17. Ok smartarses You may note the picture has disc mounts. Again, is it the 26"?
  18. Are there any famous trials riders? Danny Mac is about the only one that has any sort of non trials/biking exposure.
