  1. On the point above about overpayment, I had to pay a early redemption fee on one house I paid off early. It was quite a sum o cash, I think about 6k.
  2. Here: Link to ebay Not my listing just posting it up in case someone is after one.
  3. That is sweet as f**k dude, Ilike it best with the proper seat not the stumpy I hate them.

I had never thought of it like that either its a good theory.
  5. The walls in that garden are pretty cool, I take it they were hidden by the jungle?
  6. was just using 17t as an inbetween for visualisation. Wanna keep all six to be honest. Well if that works then: 12/14/15/16/17/19 Should work then?
  7. You don't have to pay your tv licence, I do personally because I like stuff on the BBC.
  8. So on a six speed hub it will go: 12t/spacer/spacer/17t/spacer/spacer/19t ?

Indeed, but Zeitgeist2 : Moving on is better. This sums it up quite well:
  10. I want to put a 24t chainring on my zebdi. I have a hope trials hub with 6 gears from 12-17t. I want to put the 24t on to make my bike more ridable if you get me, so I can go places. What I was wondering is can I make a cassette up between 12t and 19t on a six speed hub? If so, where would I put the 2 tooth step ups? 12/13/14/16/17/19? I have no idea Thanks in advance of your esteemed wisdoms.
  11. I had a few pairs of these when I used to run maggies, some were shit some were good. I did notice that they were usless in dust.
  12. My kid had a koxx microboxx it was pretty good but he grew out of it pretty quickly. I would say get the onza sting personally, second hand if you can. He may not bother with it after a short while you never know, £500+ for a kids bike he may use is a bit much. Occasionally monty's come up on ebay but very rarely and they get snapped up.
  13. One of the problems with this is that probably not many peoples knew about the stuff that was in it. I buy this mag now and again when I am in Cumbria where they sell it all over the place so, IU din't know f**k all about it. I think the people that knew probably bought the mag anyway because they ride moto. You should get a pole on this thread asking if anyone actually knew there was any bike trials stuff in the mag.
  14. Ah I see, I hadn't seen the inside ring. Still my idea is sound I think even if it is not applied here.
  15. Well I disagree, there may be that much oil 'left in the ground' but chucking away the financially viable bollox, which it is by the way, it will get to be 'Energy gain' non-viable before it 'runs out'. If any one doesn't understand what I am getting at: It will take more energy to extract they oil than will be gained from the oil. This is very simple maths. I don't know where you have got your figure of 2 generations and I am in no way dissing it but I calculated it at lower than that as I have taken into account potential lies by countries on how much reserves they have. I sincerely hope you are correct. I may be wrong, you may be wrong we will find out. Oil contained in sand and shale is very dodgy ground IMO and is yet more evidence that oil is becoming scarcer, whether it is for financial reasons or real life commodity reasons. Energy Crisis doubters take note.
  16. Ta chaps. Not to clever on suspension specs, mazocchi bombers can be quite light can't they? I already run 6 gears as I have been moving this way for a while. Did think about getting a rythm.
  17. This is how I think they work: The pawls have multi teeth on it so that catch in three positions as in they engage over a larger angle of the rotation. On a normal hub one pawl has only one point of contact, when the pointy bit of the pawl lines up with the driving face of the ring. With three teeth per pawl there are three points where the pointy bit lines up with the driven part of the rings tooth so more engagements. Crap description but I can see how it works in my head which is no use to you I spose.
  18. @ Skoze- Just want a bike that is more for mountain biking that is 'alright for a bit of trials' rather than an all out trials machine. Sorry dude if I seemed a bit short but a few people have really pissed me off on here recently and I am not interested in them becoming involved in a pointless argument about whether to use susp forks for trials. Its a Zebdi by the way not a koxx/monty onza shizzle..
  19. If you havn't got the tool: hold the star nut with thin long nosed pliers on the barrel bit between the 'stars' hit the bolt. Continue hitting the bolt whilst holding the 'barrel bit' with the pliers until the first star disappears into the steer tube. The nut should go in tidy beans without the pliers now. Not ideal but it works. You have to hit it hard, sharp and accurately.
  20. Please don't bother posting unless you are suggesting some forks, I'm not looking for a debate on whether to use them or not, I have already decided that. I want a bike that is more versatile.
  21. Can someone suggest some suspension forks that would be alright for trials please.
