  1. Loads to ride in Derby, you just gotta' know where your going.
  2. This happend to me, the only way my LBS could get it was with an angle grinder, i didn't need the freewheel, but i asked them if there was anyway they could get it off without breaking it, so they tried, for a good 2 hours and they couldn't, so they just ground it off in the end.
  3. Don't bother with Rolhoff, As much as i like them, 74Kingz are still shit hot, Loads of people swear by them. Ignore the 13th cog, Use the 16th cog, run 18th at the front and 16 at the rear and that gear ratio gives the best chain tension on a control. Headset, FSA PIG DH PRO or an Orbit.
  4. Rolhoff = but far to expensive. K Hanger yes, but don't pay £7, just ask someone on tf or something. KMC = No no, KHE =

    Onza

Hey, has anyone got any idea if the Onza Ronnie rim has been discontinued ? Supercycles don't have it on their website anymore, Tartybikes only have silver 36 hole left and i'm not sure of anywhere else that stocks them.... Tarty if you see this, please let me know if you happen to be getting anymore in, specifically black, 32 hole. Thanks.
  7. I've worked for Sainsburys, by god, never again. Did you know Sainsburys have the fastest employment and de-ployment rate in the Country ? I lasted 4 months with them, fair enough, the over time was f**king amazing, i was contracted the 18 hours a week, heck i was doing 40 - 42 hours a week, the pay per hour was also much much better than the job i'm in now, however i do prefer my new job, because it's weekly pay and not monthly. Sainsbury's are FAR to strict, saying that, the store manager had it in for me from day one, it would appear she didn't like young or confident people, i was brillaint at my job, come in on my days off when they phoned me up, stayed over if they asked me, but no, if i wanted something, like a day off or to finish a little early to go the doctors or something, the answer was a nice firm no. It would appear the bigger companys such as Sainsburys, morrisons and Tesco all appear to be alot stricter than the slightly smaller companys such as iceland and the likes. But with good reason, they've got standards to keep, but if they can't keep there staff happy, they sure as hell won't work as hard. I work twice as hard at my Job at iceland than i did at Sainsburys purely for the fact my Manager respects me for what i do and i also get along with him and have a good laugh.
  8. Iceland...So yeah it's not the best paid job in the world, but I don't get up every morning ah 4:30 am and think to myself "f**k gotta go work today", i actually really don't mind going to work at all.
  9. This is the reason i love my store manager so much, to be honest, he's more of a friend than a manager, i talk to him about personal stuff, about my life outside of work, he texts me piss funny jokes when he's sitting in the office, then looks out his window and watches me piss myself reading it on the shop floor, he allows cigarette breaks extremly fairly, holidays ! whats this 6 week notice crap ? I just got him, need such and such a dates off like a week before and he's like, no problem, just write it on the rotor. I woke up late the other morning, phoned him, said, sorry mate, i'm gonna be abit late, woke up abit late and the next bus isn't for 20 mins, he said yeah no probs, due wanna make it up at the end or do you want me to just knock it off your pay, see you soon mate. Yet....In the past, i've had seriously dickhead managers, thats why i would never leave my job. Because it's fantastic.

  11. Whilst on the discussion of Hope pro 2's, If your hub shell splits or you have a problem with the internals on a Hope pro 2, do you need your reciept to send it off to Hope and get it fixed ?
  12. Them ticket barrier things at stations make me laugh. I generally carry some of my old train tickets in my Railcard holder, So one day i was riding in Reading, brought my ticket etc and put it in with the rest of my tickets in my railcard wallet, got to the barriers, and i still had tickets in their from leicester, coventry, leeds etc, grabbed a ticket out my walled, stuck it in to get out, and went through, looked at my ticket that popped back out and realised, i'd put a ticket in that showed i was going to leeds. Ive now done this at a few other stations aswell, all it does is recognise the feel and shape of the card, heck if you find one on the floor of the train that will work.
  13. Pogo, there's rocks there of all different shapes and sizes for all different abilitys of riding

    Echo Tr

I'm sure the TR rims are single wall ? I think thats the only difference between them and the urban rims ?
  15. As Muel said, Matlock Quarry. There's also "Back Cown Quarry". For street - "Bristol" or "Leicester".
  16. Ben if you're going, I'm in.
  17. Matlock Quarry ? -100's/1000's of different rocks of all shapes and sizes. -As far as i am aware you don't need permission to ride on there. -Plenty of room for Tents etc. -Car parking im not to sure of, I'm not sure if getting into the actual quarry itself is accesable via car ? -Sainsburys a 5-10 minute walk down the road for food, drink, toiletries and wash facility's (Face and hands only, no showers ), also a petrol station there. Just seems and cheap and decent option thats all
  18. Ohh yessss lad, I do hope them bars are going white an all Looks awesome lad, ride it well, cya tuesday.
  19. What Joe said . I think using the same graphics as on the stock version would look good. Is there going to be a Magura version at all, or are they staying with rear disc only ?
  20. Ahh shame I didn't see this, we rode there today, sorry chap
  21. That was un-real. Good work.
