  1. Ok, so just cant figer out what pad im gonna get for my vees. Im placing a tarty order, so something that they have preferably. im using really crappy rear vees on a mod with a really dead grind. I ride in dry and wet, and i want bite, but not much noise. I have cnc backings, so any hs33 pad will work too. Thanks alot
  2. That would be good, but if your going to spend that much dough, you might as well get this: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=47 Or something like it. The 24" might be a wee bit better to learn on, but if your going to be doing comps it wouldnt be as good. Where are you in the U.S.?
  3. Just go to tarty's Have a look in the 24" section. You could probably get an inspired for somewhere around your price range. If not, you could get a darn nice 26" for your budget
  4. If price is no object: Pauls calipers XTR levers linear slic cable Heatsink or inspired phat pads Very expensive, very good IMO
  5. So, i found a really good deal on a brand new gu le frame, the total cost would be the same as the total cost for a marino frame. Wondering what people thought of both of these. Also, the gu has almost the same geo as what i was gonna get on my marino. Marino Pros: steel-stiffer any geo any color Marino Cons: steel-heavier longer shipping time GU Pros: Proven Aluminum-lighter GU cons: Aluminum-more flexy Just add whatever to any of these 4 pros/cons. Thanks
  6. Yes, they are nice frames, but that is NOT what this is. Definetely, cut me up and put me in a pie if it is.....
  7. No, it is definetely not. Look at the dropouts, way different.
  8. Looks nice and would technically be able to be mounted on a mod But, i dont see how it actally tensions the chain, it looks like its more of a chain "guide". But im a noob so im probably wrong lol
  9. Yeah i know, im not buying them just cause there creaking, the splines are also kinda crapped. I know i really should just get new BB and cranks... Thanks for the help
  10. Are they good? My echo forged have just started creaking (there not even that old) So im gonna get some new ones when i get the money. Just wondering if the trialtech ones would be better.. Thanks
  11. That front hub wont dissapoint you! There awesome! Looks beauty.
  12. Nice Gaps! Does he like the geo of his frame?
  13. Looks like your trying to make it look like the koxx graphics lol. Dosent look to bad. How did you make them?
  14. Pros: strong as heck!!! Cons: Heavy-might as well be made of lead. dont look as good as drilled just my opinion. Id get a monty, or an echo urban if i were you. Both are way pimper, and alot lighter, and proven to be strong.
  15. What bike do you ride? Zona zip, soon to be marino mod! How long you been doing trials? 6-7 months What is your biggest flat to flat? 3 ft., but getting longer every day! What is your biggest sidehop? 17 in. What is your biggest drop? 35-40 in. natty or street? both! Where is your favourite place to ride? my place,
  16. Riding was pretty good. Your style is kinda wierd, i dont know if i like it or not, your really all over the bike.
  17. Cause theyre freakin cheap! And i can get custom color, and i know that the geo i get will fit me better than what i have now regardless. And steel threads strip alot less easy. 262? Is that possible? do you mean 362?
  18. I think thats what ill probably do. Its hard for me to say what geo i like, due to a shortage of rides in the area i live in, ive only rode a few other trials bikes. I have the zona zip, and i know its to long for me, i want something really flicky anyway. Yeah ill probably just go withe the silver sky. Thanks alot
  19. Im going to be ordering a marino mod frame soon, and i dont know what geo to get. I ride a little bit of everything, just no comps, but i do natty and TGS both quite a bit. Im 5'6-7 115-120 pounds, im 14, so im still going to grow, and i want the frame to last a little while. I was going to go with the silver sky geo, as that is what a couple other good riders my age use, but im still not sure. Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers
  20. I need to know the geo of the brisa mod forks (yes those ancient things that break constantly) and also the zona zip mod frame. Thanks alot.
  21. Just be careful buying used bikes. Make sure you know what waht youre buying. always ask if the threads are stripped, and bearings are good. Those are the two biggest things that you cant see in the pictures.
