Changing to v brakes on the rear of my bike now, and was wondering which calipers to go for? sd7s seem very popular, but what about shimano brakes? are the avid ultimates worth the hefty price tag? bearing in mind i don't want to have to keep buying bits and pieces for the brake as bits break Thanks Adam

Looking to replace my maggies with a rear vbrake setup and am wondering about 4 bolt - v brake converters. Like the heatsink ones, but he's not making any more at the moment. Neon ones look nice but are they any good? Don't really want onza ones, i've heard they break and don't have many holes for adjustability. Any recommendations? Also anyone use the paul v brake? think its called the motolite, opinions please if you've any experience of them Thanks Adam

I too am considering v's for my marino fourplay would like a little more modulation for street. Any body running them on their fourplay? what after market levers are there available, can only see avid, shimano or because levers but would quite like something nice and cnced. Thanks
