  1. What sort of bb you running? Halfords will probably have one for a square taper BB, not too sure about one for an isis BB. Should be able to order one in for you if not though. Got mine from the cycle surgery in Birmingham
  2. Easiest way is with a tool. They're pretty cheap and worth while because chances are you be using it more than once. Park tools are good products.
  3. Same here, tried some nikes on the other day far too slim. Had DCs for about 4 years now (not the same Pair though!)
  4. I agree, used to ride a fly tierra before switching to trials. Didn't know they'd started making trials stuff either
  5. EDIT: I only have £30
  6. Damn good shoes. Made for sport and last ages if you take care of them
  7. Was gonna say, not much weight difference at all. Wouldn't they be brittle any way?
  8. Ordered some and they did come, took a while though. He was ill apparently so i forgive him! Worth the wait any way. Heatsink yellows with cnc on smooth rims great, cheaper than phat pads too. He should be getting orders out straight away now, just send him an email.
  9. Manage to rebuild? Pretty simple right?
  10. Thanks, bareing in mind i don't gring my rims?
  11. You wouldn't be able to put enough pressure in with out blowing air out around your finger
  12. Yup, put them back together, rebleed, then pull the lever while not letting the piston on the bore cap side move. I use a tyre lever to stop it. Keep pumping and it should pop it self out. Make sense? I did the same thing. Took the caliper apart with out taking the right piston out first.
  13. My pads and backings turned up today but have had to order phat pads and backings in the mean time so am waiting for them too. Which are better anybody have any opinions? one set are going to have to be returned. I prefer the look of the phat pads but haven't got them in my hands yet. have the yellow heatsinks with the alu backings here now. I'm gonna return one set, not sure which so input would be helpful. Thanks
  14. No idea mate, it came from steve via paypal. From what i hear it's one of the best out there.
  15. Think he's managed to clear a back log. He sent me notice of dispatch yesterday, but haven't received them yet. Mind you i ordered over two weeks ago. Keep those fingers crossed!
  16. Finally go the busted starnut out. had to stick my finger into the forks and turn the broken tool out with my finger. Then bash the shit out of the starnut. Matt Gibson you're a lucky man! Thanks for the forks though, pleased with them. Adam
  17. Any way of saying how many spacers i need? Looks too much to me
  18. You'll need the bore cap tool tool for the brake, should be listed in the guide. You'll need some ISA (somesort of cleaning alcohol, is listed in the guide) i'd advise using it instead of white spirit (which isn't, i used ISA). Thanks You'll need some ISA I ordered mine online, cheap and arrived the next day. Couldn't find it in B&Q though.
  19. Here's a guide -> http://steveukmtb.wordpress.com/hope-calip...nitrialsm4v2m6/ It's really simple just read through a few times first. Chain reaction stock the seals kit you'll need. Be carefully to keep your rotor well away from you while you're working on the caliper though! On the same page, there's a link to bleeding a hope break. Just do that a few times to flush out any old hydraulic fluid, some times it turns to jelly. Hope that helps.
  20. Bearing in mind it's 24". Was thinking it's a fait bit.
  21. Right, i had no luck getting the mangled starnut (if you've read my previous topic you'll know what i'm taking about) out of my forks and can't trim the steerertube. I have to ride 30mm of stem stackers (spacers) does this matter too much? riding an Onza Zoot with trialtech stem (120mm x 17*) monty bars and viz forks. Thanks
  22. It's not gonna budge hitting it, I'll have to get it drilled or leave it there. Thanks though
