  1. t mags are built like tanks montys are comp bikes and are prone to snapping haha they're not strong at all
  2. Why people even buy used protos is beyond me.. there not built to last, only to test the geo, good/ bad points of frame etc. they're obviously going to be weak so you can't really complain about it cracking...
  3. S**t yeah, that reminds me... I'm 99% sure someone said tarty have them in stock.. you just gotta ring and order it because they're not on the site
  4. I heard they're stringer than 08s... But are designed more for natty? And I think Chai is one of the only people in the UK to have one... he's probably the guy to talk to..
  5. Is your echo lite a long ? If it is, no point getting an adamant there exactly same geo
  6. Maybe one who doesn't enjoy his frames cracking on the dropouts?
  7. New washers... Maybe you threaded your mounts?
  8. Yeah... the Kings have lots of parts... loose even one of them, or don't put it back in right and you will probably blow up our hub... best to send it off to tarty... £9 + postage is better than having to buy all new internals for yours...
  9. Can I just say... Love the paint job.. the stickers are shite though... "ICE" looks boring and is too small... and the onza sticker looks a tad tacky... One like on the master (with the blue glow around the large "onza" sticker) would look epic on an ice.. because theres too much space left if you get me... because the stickers are so small. Looks a tad boring. make a short too.. 1025 is too long for some people... I'm only just over 5ft So bigger stickers please ! And I would probably be tempted to buy one... but that's just my opinion
  10. You need a chris king tool, but they're really expensive (like 100 someone told me, not sure though) Apparently though, you can get it out with some elbow grease and a flat headed screw driver... can imagine this damaging the internals though.....
  11. My mate had this problem... I think he ground the bottom of the steerer (bit that is connected to the actual forks) and it gave more clearance for his Tyre
  12. Yaabaa have to be the ugliest frames I've ever seen...
  13. Pads:Heatsink Yellows, CNC backings Time used: about a month, riding 4/5 days a week. about 4 hours a day Rim used: rear monty 221 Ti Grind: medium sharp Ceraminc:No Brake used: standard 05 maggie What is your opinion of a working brake: good bite, good hold, good bleed How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Amazing. Used to use TNN CRMs, Koxx Browns, Rockman blues... Review: Got them second hand, maybe 3/4 pad left. Soon as I fitted them, dragged down a hill, then just the usual street. Have to say, they performed better than TNNs did. Louder, more bite, similar hold. Slipped once or twice, applied a little bit of tar, they were perfect. Wear life is good... about half a pad left on one side. On the other... Didn't set the ad up square and it wore at an angle... about 2mm Left at the bottom :L Overall one of the best pads I've used...
  14. Yesssss Rosssssssss good vid
  15. Exactly what I was thinking The Onza Bird is what little kids ride around on popping wheelies and hopping off curbs.. not proper trialing really :/
  16. Train to skipton from keighley is at 10:40 on wed, from steeton and silsden 10:42
  17. TNN said that the CRMs were good.. but because the LGMs are better on smooth and a grind, they saw no point in carrying on making a pad that was worse than another, for the same price. CRMs are discontinued now. PLUS the wear life was utter shite
  18. I don't know what topic you're reading.. this is about the echo SL rim brakes not magura martas
  19. To make foam grips stick, spray the inside with lots of wd40. then cable tie each end of the grip, and leave the cable ties on for a few days. take them off and your grips are stuck to the bars. that always works for me
