You really are good at this! My suggestion would be to make your own. Or if you're not good at the kind of thing, do you know anyone who is? It's a fairly simple thing to make - just make it nice and bulky with lots of material spare so it won't break.
I would really like to but I don't have access to any kind of material, machining tools or machines and more importantly, I don't have any clue on how to make this sort of things...

And all those adaptors are utter shite 🙃
Can't you make some Adam? Me and @PLIW tried contacting Steve@heatsink and his email address doesn't work anymore. The person who was supposed to make some hasn't got time to develop some so I guess you're our only chance seeing your machining knowledge.

Yea, used to enjoy listening to what Doddy had to say in the tech show. Now its just hired in help to read off an auto cue and it really comes across that they don't have a clue. But what does that matter, they've said the words!
Agreed!

I am not a big fan of GMBN at all. Most of their videos are so superficial or just BS... But Doddy at least had a huge knowledge.
Oh don't get me wrong I was only watching some of their videos because of Doddy. That guy is a living encyclopaedia. Never thought so much knowledge could fit into someone's head.

It was from last year though.
Here something from this year:
That is a pity that most journalist write on topics they have little clue about.
In addition, they take so few pictures for this kind of article.
Edit: I had one of this Balfa BB7.
The shock on it was sh&t, but the suspension was still amazing at that time.
Watches that the other day. Awesome bikes all around.
Totally off topic though: it's a shame Doddy is leaving...

It's honest. How old are you now?
Being 32 and seeing Benito, Hermance or Kazuki Terai still riding gives me hope for the future.

Great edit.
It's awesome you're still riding and that well!

Power for days. Very impressive as always

From the campmajo bikes website:
Possibility to add a custom stem extender to find the exact handlebar position (additional cost)
Although I can't find any pictures, maybe this would help?Check Sergi Llongueras 's bike from that brand. He used that stem extender for a while. I don't know if the genuine stem manufacturer guaranty will get you covered when using it though. Might be worth checking.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for your email, it's great to hear from you! I must apologise for the quietness from my end. It must all seem mysterious and ominous firstly the out of date Heatsink website and now it's disappeared! I'm just logging on with Heatsink to get it up and rolling again. The pause has given me lots of fresh new ideas I can't wait to implement!I'm making progress bringing stock back of pads and tensioners. You'll notice that the Heatsinkbikes.com URL is now pointing to a placeholder as I develop a new website.Kind regards,SteveHey do you have his email address? The one he filled on here doesn't work. Let me know please

That's amazing. I sent him a PM to know if he plans making V-brake adapters. No answer yet. I may try an email.

I have had this problem often and I just replaced them with metal washers. Works perfectly. You will get some play if you don't use any washer at all.

The Boxx. I'd happily have a frame hung in my garage even if I never rode it! Hydroxx never did much for me either.
A 20" Boxx would've been well nice!

Did not most of the Boxx crack?
Somehow I never really liked the Hydroxx.
I really like the XTP though. I think the later models were much of a show (like the Karbon or the Levelboss with the strange seat tube) and did not make sens from a mechanical point of view.
I think most did. Mine did for sure, I sold it for next to nothing to a french guy who wanted it above his fireplace!
I love the Hydroxx 2 so much, but not a fan of the first one. There is a LT for sale on observedtrials.
Edit: there was...

I was the looks more than anything for me. Shame they never released a 20" version (did they?).
The Hydroxx 2 or the Boxx?
They never released a 20" Boxx but a 20" Hydroxx 2 was prototyped. I think it was released with a different finish to the 26" one though as it was painted with a dark grey.
6 hours ago, Luke Rainbird said:I enjoyed my Boxx. Picked it up for almost nothing as it had a hairline crack in the BB yoke. @Alex Dark very kindly welded it over for me (I think his invoice was a 4 pack of Rekorderlig cider, from memory, what a hero) and it lasted a while with me riding it before I went back to 24" stuff.
The bike felt great, but the front end always seemed a touch long for me, hence my "bike you wish you owned but never did" being a Hydroxx. The option of dual disc goodness and broadly similar geo to the Boxx but around 20mm shorter up front, from memory. I wanted one before I had the Boxx, but when the latter popped up so cheap I couldn't turn it down!
I forget what changes were made between the first and second version, but the hydroformed DT etc made it a great looking bike for the time.
I agree about the Hydroxx 2. It was the nicest bike for me in that era. A friend of mine rode one but it felt really long for me. Would have owned one just for the look it had though. The LT one was even nicer!

I found this map, with most German trials associations (push bike and motorbike).
Again, get in touch with the associations.
That's quite nice. We miss this kind of map to know the spots we can ride. We have ourouler.fr in France but that lists bike parks, pumptracks and trials spots but 99,9% of these trials spots are clubs grounds so you can't really ride there how you want.

I think the next step might be adding an electric motor to assist you. That would lead in some huge maneuvers!
