  1. Theyre my girlfriend Nope, they're not the most accurate scales but they're not going to be a few hundred grams out. Thats without rotor (obv' hence the picture)
  2. Its had a cupple of bleeds alex (alex trials boy on here) has duel saints on his mod and his do the same, we gave his a fresh bleed a week or two ago so its not the bleed. Either way its not a major problem, they do their job at the end of the day.
  3. Crazy big lines in there. what a video
  4. Now thats a good looking bike, impressed with the front brake. Whats the front tyre on it?
  5. Any disc works with any brake. Its just the hub type thats different. Saints are really good, the only thing im not that keen on is the fact that if you pull the lever a few times the bite point will get further away then if you leave it for a few seconds it'll go back to where it originally was. They're also a similar weight to hopes at 340g each W/O mounting stuff or rotors.
  6. I think its a big mound with grass on top, i had the same thought at first though.
  7. I use a shimano saint and everyone tells me how much power it has over a hope trial. Its one of the most powerful brakes on the market. I know not all brakes are listed but yeh..
  8. What a rider! Never seen his videos before. Such skill
  9. They look similar bearings to the one on my V!Z headset, and on that headset the bottom bearing would explode and fall to pieces, could be the same problem.
  10. I ment the first part.. good looking frame. I would like them to make a 24 though
  11. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, it also depends what brake you use with what disc or rim what pads the size of the rotor booster/no booster. The tipical advantages with a disc are that they work in the wet and are quiet (if you like the quiet that is) disadvantages include being contaminated very easily and can make high pitch sqeeling sounds when they dont work. advantages with maguras are the sound (if you like that) they have more inital bite than a disc generally easier to bleed. disadvantages, they can be harder to set up, if you use a grind it needs a grind every so offen, and they dont work in the wet. Whatever you go for theres a good chance its not going to be perfect, nothing is. Just try and get a good setup to get a good brake.
  12. Sorry, i posted something a while ago, and i was thought it was the same thing without looking at the link. This.
  13. Now that is some major skill right there, what a video! Him or danny mac, HIM! and that foot jam on the thin wall, thats skill right there! Lol at the last clip too
  14. spec? Looks really good btw, best spray job i've seen. Is the front rotor shimano deore?
  15. My rear rim is fairly similar though..
  16. Bump on this due to all the crap that "hardman" has been posting.
  17. this is what the really small questions thread is for. But eather way: 1. go on your profile 2. edit my profile 3.profile information 4. member title 5. save changes
  18. Decided not to drill my sidewalls in the end, however i've now got small holes in the rim main part, whatever thats called (if someone could give me the right word that'd be good.) I've also made the previously circle holes into squares, just wanted to check what im doing is okay and wont cause the rim to crack after like the first ride? EDIT: i know they're not perfectly square but not after a perfect shape
  19. That's a compus (spelling) in English. I'll probably use that, thanks. I couldn't do it at college, so it's now a home job..
