Take the slaves off the bike, take the pads out, then pull the lever all the way in, and spray both pistons (on the slaves) with wd40 or whatever. Try it and report back.

As expensive as it sounds, get yourself a hope. Even 160mm. Because my old hope mono mini was epic with 160 and I hardly had to be the lever that hard to be honest. Just an Idea.
