  1. You don't get the DC if you make a phone order though :/
  2. The other day when I browsing Tarty, the 5% discount was working for me. But I want to order stuff tomorrow, and was adding the items to my basket ready, and the discount isn't being taken off, even at checkout. This happen to anyone else?
  3. I know its a video from 2010, but I remember watching it when it was first posted on here. I loved it! - Came across it again today and I still do! Be good if you can post other decent group ride videos too
  4. Don't think it's a repost.
  5. Pretty epic vid, some good crashes too
  6. All the riders in Worthing have day jobs, and I work nights. So everytime they ride, I'm at work. So just wondering if there is anyone that is near Worthing that is able to ride during the day?
  7. Hi, want to start making videos and wanted to know what sort of camera to get? I want one that shoots in HD for good quality videos, but have little funds for one. So I wouldn't say anymore than £50 if I can help it really. Any suggestions?
  8. Great edit! Loved the riding!!
  9. Saw this a few years ago when it was a big hit for the USA. I got invited to their beta stage as I signed up their newsletter, but unfortunately I am not in the USA -.- so I couldn't join the beta. Is very interesting, won't get it until several of my friends do though.
  10. It's one of them things that gets stuck into teens heads. You get the idea of making your own parts or frame and then you get obsessed with it and start like drawing stuff up etc..., but in reality, what education in that stuff do you have? - Mechanical Engineering, Welding, Spraying etc..? Also then you have to work out the exact dimensions you need. If for instance you calculate things wrong then it could ruin the whole project, you would then have to re-calculate that part and make sure it's right etc... I suppose it includes a lot of trial and error. I'd suggest getting into something like Mechanical Engineering and college. I spoke to several people that make frames, including certain trials manufactures (as I wanted to do this too about a year ago) and they said that Mechanical Engineering is the way forward. Good luck.
  11. Thanks guys! Done it in a matter of seconds. Got 2 pieces of wood. Without cutting the hole. Put in a vice. Put the hose in the middle. Tightened it up just enough so that when I hit the barb in with the hammer the hose doesn't slide out and it slipped in!
  12. Split my hose yesturday. Used a stanley knife to cut the hose and cut the hose off of the lever. I have tried putting it back on but its so tight to get on there. Have tried heating up the end of the hose in boiling water and that didn't work either. Any tips? Trying to get done asap because am riding tonight. :/
  13. Love the Cadet route idea. 50% blue and 50% red. Am moving up to Expert next year on the local clubs, but prob do the Cadet Route at the British Rounds as they tend to be harder. We'll have to see. Look forward to it!
  14. Use this: http://trashzen.com/ They are good to learn the basics. After that, it's just some hard practicing. Don't expect to get high straight away though. Takes time (sometimes).
  15. When I first started I could only ever spin one way. Now I can do it both ways perfectly fine. When I done a side hop I use to side hop to the left, even though I'm left footed. Which yes, meant that my pedal hit the wall on the way up sometimes. However I could side hop high anyway, and I when I went Dual Disc I practiced side hopping to the right. Shockingly, I could do it straight away, and after 2 weeks of hardcore side hopping practice I can now side hop even higher and much easier than what I could to the left. This has also helped me being able to sidehop both ways. I am the only one of my mates that can sidehop both ways to a decent height, which is good for me When we set out sections on the rocks, with the odd sidehop or pick I can do both ways, which is to an advantage. It is better to learn both ways, sometimes you can see the pros do stuff one way, then another time the other way, although most the time they just spin around and do it the way that they can do it best. IMO, learn it both ways if you can be bothered to - Helped me alot, specially in comps.

  17. YESSS!! Thanks, glad I read this thread as was gutted when Nick Manning ran out of Cousts. Least I know the heatsink ones are exactly the same xD What is better though? - LGM, Belaeys or Coust?
  18. What best for weight and keeping the frame from flexing? Yeah that's the booster I have.
  19. I have a Speedrace Fans 26" frame and have a 4 bolt try-all (i think its try-all) on there and the frame still flexes and it's making the lever feel really spongy when pulling it in. Just wondering what booster is the best in terms of making the frame flex as little as possible. I also tried a monty 2 bolt booster, but still flexed too much. Thanks.
