  1. Tarty Bikes grips are my favourite They come with bar end plugs too They are also quite cheap and I have had them on my bike for a while and they don't seem to have worn too much.
  2. I would get a KMC Kool Chain. They are cheap and strong and don't get stiff links. I have heard that Gusset Tanks can be quite bad for getting stiff links.
  3. It isn't the exact same but it is very similar. I used to have 22:18 which was quite good.
  4. I have a Trialtech Race tensioner that worked really well untill my derailleur hanger snapped but that could happen with any tensioner.
  5. Yeh I would get a KMC Kool Chain. They are cheap, strong and don't get stiff links. Whatever you do don't get a Gusset Tank!!! They get loads of still links...
  6. Yeh I suppose. You are actually very persuasive. I am going to keep my Maguras for now but I think I would maybe consider getting vee brakes in the future.
  7. There is a article on how to do these on TrashZen. http://www.trashzen.com/gap-to-front-wheel
  8. Yeh. You don't get much modulation with HS33s but they hold and bite a lot better than disc brakes.
  9. Maguras are so much better than vee brakes! Admittedly I have never been on a bike with good vee brakes... But... There is more choice of pads for HS33s that there is for vee brakes. I find HS33s easier to set up. I thought they were more powerfull... but I could be wrong. And changing the pads on Maguras is way easier than it is on vee brakes. I would definitely go with Maguras every time!!!
  10. I put tar on the bars and I cut part off an old grip and put it on the bar before the actual grip to fill the space between the grip and the lever. This stops the grip from sliding in.
  11. Well a spoke key only costs like £5. But yeh... They can be hard to set up if your wheel is buckled.
  12. Magura HS33 are definitely my favourite brake. They don't have as good modulation as disk brakes but they have much better stopping power. They are also a lot easier to maintain and set up.
  13. Haha. You bet me to it Hunter. Try-All freewheels do skip quite a lot.
  14. Danny MacAskill rides 22 - 16 which would be best for street but you might want something lighter depending on what kind of riding you do. The new Echo 24" has 18 - 14 which is a bit lighter and is probably better for trials.
  15. I have to agree with Ross. It is really just preference. I ride stock and I prefer it but I probably ride better on mod. I find stock much more fun though
  16. I would say Trialtech Sport Undrilled. They are really strong and weigh less than Echo Urbans. I have been riding one for a while now and its had a good bit of bashing but still no dents or cracks. Also it seems to hold a grind quite well too.
  17. Hey. I'm Duncan, I'm 14 and I ride an Echo Pure 26" I live in Inverness and my other hobbies are playing guitar and listening to music
