  1. Get a grind and some new pads (make sure they are meant to be used on a grind) and you brake will be amazing in the wet and dry. Depending on what rim and pads you use you might have to re-grind quite regularly which can weaken the rim over time.
  2. Echo SL Freewheels are good but the parts aren't replaceable if something brakes.
  3. Yeh onza's are good starting bikes and the pro series are some of the best bikes you can get! The comp would be a good bike to start on because they are really high quality and high spec for the price.

    Help

What hub, rim and sizes of spokes have you got? If its a disc hub then I think quite often they are half radial, and half 2 cross. The radial side would be the longest spokes and go to the smallest flange, and the bigger flange (disc side of the hub) would be 2 cross. ^This could be correct but not definitely.
  5. If you wanted a freewheel but not a front freewheel you could just put it on the hub. If you are going to get a freewheel the new tensile ones are beast!
  6. To be honest if whoever owns t-uk was smart then they would probably change the name, get a new website and all that then start from the beginning. All the reputation they have just now is bad, there is almost no way they will be able to build up good reputation again after all the stuff which has be going on.
  7. Why are you bumping? People have told you its good, so go buy one! If you are trying to get somebody to sell you one, NO BUYING/SELLING in New Members Chat! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3
  8. Chances are that he won't see that email either though..
  9. Just wondering, Steve isn't answering emails or that so does anyone know a phone number I can contact him with?
  10. I think there is a way to do it through paypal and get your money back somehow.
  11. There was a topic about carbon rotors a while ago I think. Try searching for it
  12. I'm not sure. I payed with paypal (think it might be the only way you can pay actually) and my dad says something like you have to contact paypal within 28 days or something if there is a problem. I have already been waiting for 19 days so if i haven't heard anything in a weeks time I'm going to have to cancel the order.
  13. I was thinking of doing the same myself. Heatsink are taking forever and not answering emails. I was considering getting either the Rock CNC vee brake pads or the TNN ones. Also does anybody know if you are able to buy just the TNN vee brake backings? I know you can for the HS33's so I was just wondering.
  14. Yeh, I wouldn't mind if he was just to reply to my email saying that i will get them soon. Its just he made a big speech earlier in this topic about how everything will be sent out fast and emails will be answered the same day. Now I have no idea when to expect my pads. They could be lost in the post for all I know and I could wait forever and they just won't come. I just wish I knew what was happening. Also, since I emailed him he has had time to make competitions to win a watch and all that but still no reply to my email.
  15. I have a Shimano Deore arms, clarks cable and avid fr5 lever. I'm still waiting for my heatsink pads but i have been using the standard shimano ones for a couple of weeks and they have be ok. Don't use shimano pads on a grind! I did on my rear vee and the pads were gone in about an hour.
  16. I'm sure a normal freewheel tool would work though
  17. Well... I emailed 5 days ago. No reply yet. I have had no emails at all! A order parcel would be really good. I have been waiting 18 days for one now. Well then why not reply to your emails?
  18. Gusset chain tugs are supposed to be quite good. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...p;category_id=8 I don't know if you can use snail cams on t-comps.
  19. Yes you should get one. They are the best booster there is! Cheap, look good and very stiff. They are only £20 on tartybikes so you could probably just get one from there. But no buying/selling in New Members Chat though. The rules >> http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3
  20. Echo SL Louder than the tensile, more responsive hardly skips either BUT the parts aren't individually replaceable.
  21. The paint will scratch off as soon as it touches anything anyway. Its never going to last long.
