  1. I have the exact same problem! 2011 Magura Hs33, tnn pads, tensile 2 bolt booster and standard magura clamps. I set them up to the rim but the lever comes all the way into the handle bars? When i first set it up the lever comes in a little bit and doesnt rub. After a ride today it feels as if the cylinders have moved? They were all tight when i had finished setting them up?

As said try the helicoil, if not then treat yourself to some new ones. Personally I wouldn't buy the rockman ones, someone one on here cracked a pair.

That was sick! Music suited your riding style.
  6. Pretty good mate, looks tidy. Red + green doesnt do it for me, but hay ho.
  7. What bike do you ride ? Onza Comp 2010 How long have you been riding ? 18 months Favourite trick ? Sidehop/frenchies Best riding spot ? London Sponsors ? Revolution Cycles How often you ride ? Everyday possible. Have a validation vote.
  8. Quick tip. Use proper grammar, capital letters, full stops and you will be validated quicker.

    Onza Comp

Rear brake was good, but the pads were so flexy it gave the brake a real spongey feel. It's not on anymore though lol. Yeah you will love it, rides so nice!
  10. That's what you thought when you watched this?
  11. Amazing training spot!! They're all beasty as each other.
  12. Use the search bar. There have been so many topics on brake pads! Doing these topics will slow down your validation.

Love it! Although the V wasnt as expected! Its a Onza 128 hole mate!
  14. Give your brake a fresh water/anti freeze bleed (water if you live in a hot country) Put a nice sharp medium grind on your rim Buy some pads along the lines of Tnn or Heatsink ( Pad review section ) Set your brake up square = Good brake.

    Injury Advice

Bloody pain in the ass! Thanks for your help anyways!
  16. No. I used to run a grind and tar. My pads were never as i wanted them to be so i used tar to bring that extra bit of hold into play. Although it is pointless running tar and a grind. My opoinion is to get a decent grind, nice set of Tnn Lgms and a booster. WIN.
  17. What i found: People will say different thing below me, but this is what works for me every time. Meths - Bit in the bottom of a coke can, cut top off, put pads in (enough to just cover the pads), set it alight. When all the meths has burn away, remove (be careful, hotness). Put meths on a lint free, new, clean rag and rub all over disk braking surfaces. Team Nick Wood Hot water and washing up liquid using a pan scourer buy some muc off or some alcohol free detergent Turps Should Do The Job have heard hover it over the hob on the oven, til it starts to get hot or you can tell the oil is burning off, then drop it in some water. That is ment to work, have not tried it yet though hot water and fairy, but dont forget that the pads will have soaked up the oil I burn the oil off my pads/rotor using meths, has worked for us lot well over the past couple of years.
  18. Unfortunetly i don't mate. I'll have a search around in other topics for you and see what i can find.
  19. Disk brake cleaner for your disk, and there are various methods off cleaning your pads. I've done it by running sandpaper over it for a while, some burn them in methalated spirits and some even put them in the cooker. I'm sure someone else with tell you more about them than i can.
