  1. Are those trials specific forks? I am looking for a carbon 26" disc fork but they seem to be impossible to find
  2. If she was a boy I would agree. But her riding style is technical and smooth. She will benifit from the savings in weight
  3. Check out my daughter her site: www.lovetrialsforgirls.be. It isn't a 26" but 24"! Forks are the same though.
  4. the Bonz Carbon 26" disc is 545 gr. So I loose a good 200 gr. which is a lot. She currently has the bonz Alu which is 810 gr. The complete bike now is at 7,9 kg so we with the current setup we would loose about 250gr.
  5. out of stock on taobao as well. Received the confirmation this morning. Guess I will have to wait till the ones from Bonz are available again. Big thx though to you guys for the help
  6. thanks. I will give it a try.
  7. Thanks, found it but it is all in Chinese seems to be impossible to change it to English. Cannot contact the seller, I need to register and it is asking confirmation via e-mail. That part is in english but you confirm via a code you are texted but Belgium is not listed in the country list Any suggestions? it is the 26" disc version so the yseem have what I am looking for
  8. Back to square one after communicating with the seller placed the order. Today I received a message it is no longer available although his webshop says 7 available so I can start my search again
  9. Thx, I had similar feedback from aliexpresd so ordered the fork on Monday. Good to hear it is top quality
  10. I am building my daughters 2015 competition bike. She will be riding an Ozonys customized Curve 24 V4. I wanted to get the Bonz Racing Carbon disc fork but that won't be available till sometime in March . Browsing the web I stumbled on an add at Aliexpress.com for a 26" Carbon Trials Disc fork from Born. Anybody seen this before? Is it available in Europe? A bit reluctant to order it on Aliexpress.com. I guess that if it arrives I will pay a lot of additional taxes. The rockman and Try-All carbon forks are both HS33 only and I need fork for disc brakes.
  11. thx and I know on their FB page they say that both the 20" and 26" will be available in the disc version next week
  12. you have 24" rim brakes only as well and some 26 disc only. so this new Bonz carbon 26" would fit:
  13. Just wonder if there is a difference between 24" and 26 inch forks. Going to buildup a new 24" for Charlotte for the 2015 season and looking to different options. When I compare the specs on 24" and 26" they look the same f.e. the Bonz forks both have these specs: Axle to Crown length: 405mm Axle Offset: 25mm Steerer tube length: 200mm So wonder if a 26" fork would fit a 24" frame.
  14. no it is not one that follows you around I fly the drone and do the filming. It has a wireless connection with my iPad or iPhone so I can see what I am filming. I can also tilt the lens up and down to get a better angle on my phone as well as start and stop filming or take a picture. It is stable as it has a good stabilizer integrated And no there is nothing that avoids flying it into the threes so you need to be a bit carefull I did not annoy her too much, it is not that the drone was right next to her.
  15. Have been playing around a bit with my Phantom 2 Vision+ during Charlotte her training yesterday in Aalter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEGUSyGIIbw
  16. I don't have any experience with either of them. I use a stand from Tacx. these look more professional but the Tacx does it for me. I build up quite a nice number of wheels and use it for truing as well but it is not that I am doing this professional so the Tack does the trick. If you are using 20" rims you need to double check the stands work. Most of them cannot handle 20" rims. I can just manage on the Tacx but it is not ideal. Daughter switched to a 24" so it isn't an issue any more but definite something to check if you are going to use it on 20" wheels!
  17. Hi, Aurelien Fontenoy, who created Cross King gear for Trials, BMX, DH,... launched the Miss Cross King 2014 election again. My daugher who rides Trials (I Love Trial Bike For Girls) and is currently ranked 6 at the UCI ranking is participating in the election. Can you please support her by liking her picture on this link: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=590280861046299&set=a.590280774379641.1073741825.372068962867491&type=3&theater thx
  18. 1070, that is the 20" right? Don't know about the 20" but my daughter has been riding the 24" this year and is very happy with it. she has been riding the World Cups so and will using it in 2014 as well. don't know about the 20"
  19. They are BrakeForceOne http://www.brakeforceone.com. The front brake is the Tune Kill Hill which is the BrakeForceOne brake they have made lighter. The rear brake is the BrakeForceOne Lever with Magura Cylinders and was custom built by BrakeForceOne specifically for Charlotte. They also custom made the pink brake fluid to go with the bike. They don't have an oil reservoir as normal brakes but use an integrated hydrolic booster.
  20. Here is my daughter's custom painted Ozonys Curve 24 V4. Before making comments about the pink paint, know it's a girls bike She is part of the I Love Trial Bike For Girls team and will be riding the UCI World Cups with it.
  21. I like the single video's as well. Edit's are great but love to see full sections of individual riders! If you don't like single vids, don't watch them :wink2:
  22. I built the wheels myself googled a couple of weeks to look at advantages and disadvantages of spoke paterns. in my opinion for a 20" this is a good combination.
  23. Mine are radial non disc side and 2 cross on the disc side. Must say that it is the bike of my daughter so not abused that hard, although she is riding the world cups so not just playing around
  24. It is the Hope Race brake with a lever that is 8mm longer. My daughter has been using this on her bike for a year now, the race version that is, and it works great and is very light. when we first mounted it some people were a bit sceptical but once they tried it they were impressed. The only change I made was on the disc. The race version comes with a vented disc and that does not work too well for Trials. I replaced the Hope with an Ashima disc.
  25. nope, that is not the same brake. The one in the link is the lever of the Hope Race X2 a XC specific very light brake but not the new trials specific brake they showed at bikeradar. And the Race X2 has a specific caliper as well.
