  1. Made a video of Charlotte during our roadtrip in August: World Cup in Vöcklabruk, holiday on KRK in Croatia and World Cup in Albertville. Let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/V-K0bU51t84
  2. the article is also available in English here I translated it
  3. No she never had issues with the holes and yes she is riding with gloves Here is a picture of the 2 finger lever:
  4. No, that is the old lever from the 1st version of the brake. The new lever isn't "plastic" anymore. Here is a picture with the one-finger lever. There also is another lever available
  5. Only disc brake this would work with is the Brake Force One. My daughter has been using them for a while. On her bike it is the opposite of what you want to do. She is using the Brake Force One lever with the Racing Line brake cilinders. The brakes use an accelarator in the brake caliper and because of it is is a closed system as the magura and Racing Line rim brakes. At Eurobike this week the present a new model, one that is using water instead of oil
  6. Try this one: http://echo.bike/ that is their official website, not the US one
  7. Some more updates received over the weekend: "Marion is installed in her rehabilitation center. They are very competent. She has physio 2 times a day and his physiotherapist is nice. It's tiring but she is pushing it. they personalized her chair to her size which is a lot better. She now speaks with alphabet letters showing them to us when she wants to talk to us. we will see her every day as it is a 1/4 hour of Le Mans. She has received an envelope from the Rhône alpes clubs with a jersey for Marion and small bracelets for us. she saw them and and found it beautiful. The shirt is hanging in her room with a poster of Christophe Boul. Thank you for all of this it we are very excited about it."
  8. So the 26" disc can be used on a 24" disc?
  9. she has been transferred to a revalidation center last week. She still cannot talk but is making slow progress. it is going to be a very long road for her
  10. A new update from Marion, she keeps making small steps in the right direction "Since returning to France there has been much progress she is no longer on dialysis, she now breaths on her own, she moves a lot and she folllows the orders of the doctors. Today she sat in a wheelchair for the first time and had no fever For the results of the MRI the doctor said taht we must be patient. they tell us we need to see how she progresses. she is becoming increasingly aware of her condition which is very hard for her ... "
  11. Another update we just received from Serge: "To all. Some more encouraging news from Marion since her repatriation. Here is what we received from her mom this morning: "Marion now has her eyes wide open. Her kidneys work better since yesterday. They take good care of her. We see that she starts to become aware of her situation which is hard! Thank you to all the clubs that support Marion we are all very moved by these gestures. More news soon. Kisses to you all. " Other info: For sending jerseys or other support to Marion and her family please contact Serge Foissart on FB so tha he can provide you with an address. thank you We believe and continue the fight !!" I think this will be a difficult time for Marion as she becomes aware of her situation. Fingers crossed she will keep improing
  12. Good news today! "To all: Here is the info I have just received from Krakow Good news first: Marion is repatriated this morning to France and brought to an hostipal in Angers. Second good news: Marion opened her eyes a little yesterday and although it was not a long time it is a big progress !! Important information: for now the visits will be authorized only to close family and as the doctors did not give the green light there is no point of wanting to go to the hospital to see her !! happy that the people that I left in Krakow are finally coming home!! A big thought for Sandrine and Marie Blavignac returning by car from Krakau!"
  13. A short update on Marion from Serge: "I had the mother of Marion on the phone and the news is once again encouraging, yes !!! 1: We will know Monday if Marion is repatriated to France next week after verification of her stability , indicating real progress on her vitals . 2: Further, there are some small signs of movement that would indicate and would reinforce the diagnosis of a non-compressed spinal cord ... Top ! Although still not awakened , she fights like a champion with all her family, proud of her ! Continue to have hope but nevertheless remain patient because the battle will be very long .... Thank you all for your support. " I have not heard any further news wether she can be repatriated to France or not.
  14. Here is the latest news that just came in via Serge Froissart that is encouraging: the doctors started to gradually reduce the various assistances to move towards a very progressive but also very complicated awakening ... That is why we must remain very cautious and very patient as the road is still very long and there are still many unknowns Fingers crossed
  15. We received another update today. Marion is still kept in an artificial coma for the moment. They will do some more tests in the next couple of days. hopefully they bring back some good news, even if it is just a little. for now we can just be patient and continue to hope for the best
  16. There has been a little bit of news yesterday. Her situation remains stable after her surgery on Saturday. She is stlll held in a artificial coma and they will perform the first scans today to see how she is recovering from her injuries. So fingers crossed we will get some positive news during the day, even if it is just a tiny bit of good news. thanks for all the support here!
  17. Hi out of respect for Marion and her family we have been asked to be discrete. All we can share for the moment is that she is stable, being held in an artificial coma. So her situation isn't getting worse but not getting better either. I am sure that as soon as there is a change and her family shares it with Serge he will share it on FB. In the mean time the only thing we can do is hope! There is a lot of support for her on social media which I think is a great thing and helps people close to her. Serge posted a drawing yesterday a lot a people are sharing. It says "all with Marion". feel free to share it if you like. the drawing is below:
  18. Yes indeed the women riders and the 20" riders decided not to race due to what has happened. It was the riders decision, not UCI's! in the 26" some riders decided to start anyway.I was there as my daughter was participating. There was no mechanical problem with Marion her bike. She simply lost her balance and had a stupid crash with severe concequenses. It was not even on a difficult section or obstacle. Just bad luck . Yes there was a thunderstorm before the competition but sections were dry when they started. and another thunderstorm hit the site when they were discussing what to do. Marion is still in the hospital fighting for her life. Her parents joined her sister who was with her in Krakow and are with her now. not much more we can say for the moment other than that we all hope she will recover.
  19. will there be MAGURA Martha 09, Louise 07 pads as well?

    Croatia 2014

Nice video could you let me know the locations where you filmed? We are thinking of visiting Croatia between the world cup in Völckabruck Austria and the one in Albertville France. Thanks Marc www.lovetrialsforgirls.be
  21. First of all, I don't rubbish everyone's suggestions. Maybe it is my English as I am not Britisch but just the subject of the topic: "Where are all them bitches at" doesn't sound to women friendly, but as I said, that might just be me I am definite not dismissing idea's. I have been pushing hard in Belgium to give the girls riders more attention. we now have seperate categories for girls -15 and +15. the +15 ride the UCI cadet level. The youngers ones choose (poussin, benjamin, minine UCI level) where they ride but the lower categories have penalty points so we do not punish girls that ride better. the girls -15 is new, up until last year they rode with the boys. They were nothing but smiles on the podium on Sunday and I heard that a couple more will start competing now. seperate sections would be ideal, as stated here, they are not as strong as the boys (at least not all of them). so having special sections would be nice, but I guess on a national level at least we are far away from that.
  22. Not all of them start when they are young. My daughter started when she was 12 and is in het 3rd World Cup season now No need to shout, and what might look like a joke to some offends other people. My daughter read this thread and was quite offended by it hence I responded
  23. very dissapointed to read this thread. The number of female riders as well as the level in the World Cups is increasing year on year. They are getting the respect they deserve from the male riders on the world cups, so show some respect here as well!! Yes they don't have the same strength as the men but don't underestimate them. their competitions are in some aspects more physical as they had to do 18 sections in 2.5 hours where men do 12 in 2.5 hours, yes I know there are qualifications, semi's and finals but still i have been to the world cups for 3 years now so I know what I am talking about! There are 36 women in the UCI ranking 2014 from all over the world and those are only the ones competing
  24. They are on his athlete page: https://www.facebook.com/coustellier?fref=ts vids are still there
  25. Schwalbe still makes the Fat Albert (24x2.4) and the rocket ron (24x2.10) unfortunate no longer the big betty. My daughters 2015 competition bike will have the fat albert on the rear and moto digger as a front tire
