  1. Met him on the rocks while in worthing, he said he was from Hungaria and had been riding for 7 years. He was on a blue stock bike by the name of 'da bomb' i think... Can't remember exactly. He looked in his 20's He wore baggy koxx trousers, tryall shoes, a bright yellow helmet magura hs33 colour... Hope that things down things abit, I wouldn't have bothered if he was an english rider. Hopefully someone knows a hungarian rider that's been riding for 7 years ?
  2. Erm I tend to have around 20-30. Seems to me that it's perfect as the rim hits when dropping off etc but gently. And people who run lower pressures tend to be smoother riders...
  3. Hello there, When I was looking for a new MTB as my old Giant wasn't fit for the job- fancied something newer and better. I went to a local bike shop and asked them what they recommended, I told them that I had a budget of £350 (similar to yours) and they pointed me in the direction of Marins and Giants. Aways I asked them If I could test try the best looking bikes (for riding not in actual looks) and I left a deposit and my Dad in the store and went up and down the road on the Marin and then a Giant, sprinting, low gear, brakes, saddle height, if the length felt right. Being me- I wanted another go on the Marin, so I did... Then I'd realised It would be a close call between the two, so I looked at the components. The Marin had a free disk brake upgrade and a lifetime warrenty- the Giant had vee's and 1 year's warrenty. I went for the Marin. While cycling the south downs way (hilly MTB route) home 10 miles, on flat platform pedals. I'd realise that I wouldn't like the Marin's riding style straight away so halfway through the ride going up some hills I normally had no problem with- I was reduced to walking pace... Felt like I'd got a shit bike- also got TWO punctures in the same ride home... But looking back at that now, I realise I'd suffered the price to pay for buying an awesome bike that will last me a long while! So my reccomendations to you are, go to a bike shop, go with an adult/parent you know that know a decent amount about bikes, tell them your budget and get them to point out their recommended bikes at the price, then ask if you can test try (no doubtedly they'll say yes as they want you as a buyer!). If your unsure about the bikes, go home, come back another time or go to another shop and just see which one feels right. Sorry about the super-long post but I hope that helped!
  4. I'm guessing it was around £1000?
  5. Nice! Your 44 and still at it? RIDE 'TIL YOU DIE!
  6. When I met him he told me "Well done you got into the habit of wearing a helmet, I never did and never will." He'll regret that And, nice pics Jack
  7. What do you mean by this?
  8. That counts as long as the person who got it doesn't vote haha Craig Lee Scott is some dood who likes to put his name on people ZOO!'s.
  9. Will do. Are you kidding? "Believe it not not!" - Ripley.
  10. On his facebook he said that he'd just recovered from a 3month rest... And that he can ride again!
  11. Right kk so many 04's were sold. That means he probably didn't ride mine- thanks for the help guys! And do you know how many 04s are left?
  12. Don't think so, asked a question and they ask me questions like 'Why do you think its his anyway?'
  13. Thanks, keep them coming!
  14. Out of about 5 people I've spoken to, they've all said "Woah you have a Zoo Python 04? That's a piece of trials history- CLS may have ridden it" Question answered?
  15. Hey guys, as you all probably know that Craig Lee Scott designed some of the Zoo bikes- one of them was a Zoo Python 04. I think I may have his Zoo Python 04, you guys know any way I can see if it was?
  16. Now looking back at the Onza Rip bars I used- I now hate them. I have long riser bars and I'll never look back- so much more control and feel better too (but that's my opinion)! And stems- that's just your choice; nobody else can decide for you.

    Commute To Work

Dude... I bet the hills aren't as bad as the place I live in- get off your ass and ride!
  18. I'm afraid he finds eBay... Gay? (He said on msn)
  19. I did say to you on MSN that it's not a good idea, and that people will hate you. It doesn't matter if you want a fast sale for your bike or not- you still gotta earn your validation...
