  1. Exact Same, Could be down to nostalgia or they could just be timeless classics, one way to find out would be upload some and see what the riders who have started riding within the last year or there abouts and see there opinions..
  2. Ali C in Mod Bike discussion shocker!!
  3. I'll be 30, I will hopefully have visited Japan atleast one time by then. I will hopefully have a job I enjoy that gives out reasonable pay for the work required, maybe a job in childcare or something along those lines - somewhere that makes me feel like Im making a difference and helping others. I'd like to have setlled down in a house with a girlfriend/wife who feels the same way about me as I would her, maybe a child to spoil rotten aswell. Hopefully I've not injured myself too much by then and am still fit and healthy.
  4. Good to hear you enjoyed yourself theres alot more places than what we visited today, I thought todays ride was pretty slow paced for the most part, maybe because I was feeling ill and tired.. But yea as Si said you pretty much when for anything slightly within your reach Nice riding! Olly.
  5. You need to go to the quicktime site and download the latest codec patches, Jonny uses special H264 coding or something for compression so you need to have to codec to run that.. Olly.
  6. I see alot of posts in this thread about how Trials is too competetive and not as fun anymore, people dont talk to each other on group rides etc. Whenever theres a group ride in Cambs I always try and make sure everyone just has a laugh doing what were doing, we'll try some big stuff and some small stuff and some stupid stuff to follow suit aswell but the main importance on a ride is to have fun and meet up with the people who enjoy the same stuff as you. I agree with Andy P saying if your wanting to ride Trials then you will find time for it, I've got no-one within 10 miles of me so I ride alone all the time, I sometimes get back from my 9-6 work, have dinner chillout on the net then at like 10:30-11:30 I get a huge urge to go out and ride in the pitch black freezing cold So I hop on my bike and go for a 45min session just on my own, trying new things or improving on other moves. At the end of the day Trials is what you make it, progression is a part of Trials but its not the most important part, the most important thing is to have fun riding progressing obviously add's to the fun along with having a group of riders who are up for a ride with you in a great local spot any time of the day but not all of us have that, if it wasn't for this forum Im not sure what my state of mind would be but knowing this place exsists with the community it has keeps my spirit up when riding alone and stuff, it would be a massive chunk of my life gone without all this.. Olly.
  7. Pride says I beat you all hands down on PGR3... I haven't played PGR3 for a while though as I've currently been playing through RR6 for all the achievements.. Just got 100 online wins and have completed 100% of the world explorer, going to be a big change in style of racing going back to PGR3, I've completed that 100% aswell though Olly.
  8. I wouldn't say the skateparks a great place to start Si.. If you do station start theres the wall on the right then the businessy walls on the left for a bit, then trek round to the skatepark and onwards from there? My train usually gets to the station at 11:28am Olly.
  9. Best bet is to forward half of it to my account to see if its actually transferable, that way you'll know if its money you can do stuff with or not..
  10. Just sitting here watching AndrewTtheONE amongst others as you do.. And it got me thinking how good a sport Trials really is, obviously most of us here have been riding for some time now, we see great Trials videos week in week out and obviously can ride Trials ourselves to varied standards. But sit back and think about the basis and basics of Trials and what the sport really is.. I think it really is something special myself, the level of control over ones bike, the extent of obstacles that can be tackled and the various ways to do so. Lots of extreme sports these days seem to be heavily trick orientated where as Trials is something different, its about people overcoming what lays in their path and working out the best way to do so as well as thinking up more effective ways or just different ways to tackle the challenge once you've first done it. I think most of the time I overlook the effort that goes into most peoples riding and fail to appreciate Trials as a sport, you see people in the street and they stand there amazed at what most of us think are simple tricks or "small" obstacles when really its a pretty good achievement each time. I've liked seeing how different techniques have been progressed to higher levels over the last few years and how new techniques have resulted in more advanced levels of riding and bike control in general. Not sure how the rest of you feel but I thought I'd share my view for others to read.. Olly.
  11. LMAO! I laughed so hard reading that..
  12. Yea but they can all pull tripple bar spins so they need the cable, you dont.
  13. Heres some lovely pics taken with a good old camera phone: Right of my room.. Bed.. Left of my room.. PC area.. Games tower.. TV area with consoles and the like.. Olly.
  14. They look alot nicer than the ones ben farted on thats for sure.. They may actually stay in one piece Olly.
  15. I called them up yesterday, aparently they said theres no real reason why they can't make a 32h hub they just didn't think it was required by many, Tartybikes informed them about the many 32h trials rims so they are looking into making the 32h hubs as it shouldn't be to different or difficult to make Olly.
  16. I'll give you the other set back, havent used them or anything. P.S. You owe me 4 sets of pads.. So much for a little chilled ride then Olly.

    Big Tyre Fold...

Your all fag's I run my tyres at 45psi thats the only way to ride them Then on a gap like that the world moves a bit not the tyre.
  19. Aparently Si and Patt are coming to cambs aswell, Im really not fussed, Im pretty ill so I'd prefer a relaxed ride rather than the OAP's like Si and Jules getting hyped up and going crazy one upping each others moves
  20. Todge, Si and Me will be riding Cambs, just casual like and to get some filming done. My profile is currently in a non-travelling state so I dont want to go far and have it die on me Others welcome but its no big group ride, just a chilled session with hopefully some filming to get done, so you can go to hunts for a proper ride with Mr. *old man* Sagar and crew if you like Olly.
  21. I just bought Voices and Front Brake Revolution today, I'll watch them later and post what I think Billys in Cambs has quite a few sale items.. Front Brake Revolution was £8.49 From £16.99 theres a few others aswell. Olly.
  22. Cool I was going to give them a bell, problem was my last set of driver bearings exploded into the drive and I didn't notice for a bit, the pawls are mangeled and the driver is a bit worse for wear along with the ratchet bit or whatever. The pawls seem like the most needed bit to replace right now the springs seem fine and the driver is probably quite a bit more £60 I think. Do you have the number you phoned? Cheers Olly
  23. Anyone know the cheapest place to get a new set of 4 pawls from for the profile racing mini bmx cassette hub? I know Tartybikes do them for £5.50 each and Im sure there around that price where ever but it seems alot for 4 tiny bits of metal so if you know a place to get them cheaper post here and help me out.. Cheers Olly
