  10. What a great day! The weather was SUPER hot! Over 100 people were there, a TV crew showed up along with JJ and Radcliffe doing there usual camera work. The garden was really neat, the plaque on the center-piece was great and the pink wooden bunny logo was a great touch too It took me about 4 hours to get there and 2 and a half to get back, no thanks to some seriously sketchy driving from Steve (Heatsink) I assumed him being old = safe driver.. I was wrong. I had a really good time though, loved seeing everyone and I'm really glad I could make it down to be there Olly. P.S. OnzaBoyMark is much sexier in real life
  11. Just got back! The weather was SUPER hot better than rain by far though, over 100 people there TV crew showed up along with JJ and Radcliffe doing there usual camera work. 12. Hi guys, My eye sight is pretty bad these days and although I don't really see myself as a glasses person I'm forced to where glasses at work, at home to watch TV and if I go out to town and stuff. I used to hate having to wear glasses and still don't like it too much but as I said I need to these days, now at work I've just got a new manager, he doesn't where glasses so I assumed he can see perfectly fine without aid but it turns out he wheres contact lenses. I've recently tried a contact lens trial and I found them ok (month trial of the ones you have to clean etc) but I found it too much hassle putting them in and taking them out in the morning or after work and the hassle of cleaning them etc so I didn't go through that route. What I wanted to try but haven't got round to it yet are the daily ones but the lady at Spec Savers said they have a shorter wear time like maybe 8 hours MAX now I work 9 hours at work and have an hour travel each way so I'd want something that last's longer per day and maybe I'd stick with the glasses at work someday's and save pairs for when I want to go out riding, either way once you've used a pair you have to throw them out so if I went out for a hour ride after work I'd have to throw the pair out that night, seems like a waste. So I ask my manager what Contacts he wears, he said that he wears Daily Disposables since he wanted Laser Eye Surgery but his eyes weren't settled enough to have it yet BUT instead of taking the daily contacts out he just leaves them in, not for one day or two but for months! he said he'd been wearing his current pair for over 2 months sleeping in them and everything!?! They told him it wasn't possible but one day he left them in and again the next night and then just left them in for longer each time and he's been doing this for 2/3 years now.. Does anyone else do this? It sounds like the perfect solution to my problems if its possible for me to do it, I can wear lenses so hopefully dailys would be ok too. But basically his two week daily disposable contact lens trials last him over a year Sounds pretty sweet to me.. Olly.

Your 2 quotes are un-related and make you look like a foo' You quoted my reply to someone saying the Xbox 360 is a overpriced japanese POS and your quote is about the president of Nintendo.. Satoru Iwata's Profile Olly.

Yea that'd probably be more on the forum. Its hard to say really because alot of people obviously like playstation, but the PS3 is on a whole other level not so much in a good way either. It has a severly jacked up price for a games console the reason for this is mainly because they decided to go with Blu-Ray and it cost them alot to do so, now not every gamer is going to really want/use this Blu-Ray player since there usually quite happy with the quality of DVD's these days so its kind of an extra wad of cash for something you wouldn't use.. Say you did want to go for the PS3 because you think it'll have more titles.. think of it this way you quite litterally could buy BOTH a Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii with the money that'd it cost for the PS3 with those to consoles you'd have a MASSIVE selection of games from a huuge range of genre's, you'd have a more standard console (360) for the latest Pro Evo's, Movie Titles, Car games, FPS games, whatever your used to Microsoft will provide you with it along with the big guns like GTA 4 and Halo 3. You'd also have to option of upgrading to HD-DVD's if that intrests you.. but then you'd also have a great fun console (Wii) with games that you've never played before experiencing a totally different side to gaming that'd probably feel quite refreshing as the DS has proved to be on the handheld front. The Wii will be able to hook up with the DS, it will have a constant online service for game additions and updates etc, it will have a huuge back catalogue of games from Sega, Nintendo and many 3rd party retro publishers through there Virtual Console so you can enjoy the great classics again if thats for you. The 360 will be able to link with Windows, your mobile phone, and all kinds of stuff PC/Media realated for all kinds of reasons, its got a great online service thats only getting better, apparently you'll be able to get Sky+ through your 360 in the future and stuff like that so loads of possiblities. The PS3 will have a brand new network hub online service as its got no previous onlive service to build on (unlike Live on Xbox/360) it'll be linkable with the PSP (meh..) and play the new technology Blu-Ray disks ($$$) think thats about all the intresting stuff.. So ultimately its a pretty big step to purchase a PS3 when you could get both the others for the same price and end up with 10x the possibilties 10x the games and probably 10x the fun.. Its hard to say a definative one to own right now since only one is out but thats only in its early stages i'd say.. Could try and type some more but most probably won't read so I'll just answer questions that come up. Olly.

Decision? Click here they pretty much had to take the rumble technology after facing those massive fines So the PS3 is backwards compatible with PS1/2 games but you will have no rumble features for them (which for years they said was the future of feeling in games) through the PS3 pad? Where as the 360 Pad is wireless and has a great rumble sensor, and the Wii controller will be wireless have rumble, motion sensor and a speaker all on the controller.. Few things.. Everyone said about the power of the PSP vs. DS last time round and that power and graphics = good games but ultimately theres been next to no great games on PSP so obviously system power is not the determining factor in having good games. The PS3 games will also be SO expensive to make meaning there will be less choice of games, they will mostly be generic shooter A and generic driving game B, the motion sensor on the controller will add a few new ideas to games but ultimately they fully ripped off Nintendo's ideas and they probably wont be executed nearly as well. Nintendo for most people will still have the childish image but there games are evolving to be used by all ages and that is there main hope/purpose in the new console, back in the day with the SNES all ages bought into games with titles ranging from kids to killer instinct etc. Lastly the PS3 now can't output 2 HD displays as one of the HDMI ports they originally said would be there was removed to save cost because basically who the hell has 2 HD Tv's in the same room anyway? Loads of other things were scaled down/cut for these reasons too. Olly.

£425 is the current launch price of the PS3. There's probably only going to be the 60GB version over here as that'd be way more popular. People who mock or laugh at the Nintendo consoles name are lame, its not cool or clever to mock it and it doesn't take the most intelligent people to think wow its sounds like a common term for urine big deal. The names done exactly what Nintendo wanted it to do, get people talking about it, its the people who can look past the name that'll see how endless the possibilities are Olly.
  19. I thought it was a pretty neat video to be honest, some of the music wasn't to my taste but it had a very fun feel to the video Some good riding in there too, some intresting lines and good control like holding the back wheel on that bench after wheel swapping it then turning and gapping to bin, thats the kind of riding I'm into rather than the one move tricks of these days. If its bad people comment, if its amazing people comment, if its just good people dont tend to write much, dont worry it was a pretty cool vid Olly.

lols, its American The Nintendo console is pronounced "Wee" same way you'd say "we like it" etc Don't get Tomb Raider Dave it may look nice but its really really short so you'd have to be a massive Tomb Raider fan to bother getting it, most people bring that game back, its probably a good rental title. Olly.

I'll love seeing that same reaction when you shell out £425 on a PS3 and think the same It's definately not boring, have a look at the gamers on offer at the moment and in the near future, if theres titles that intrest you (especially 360-only games) then go for it, great fun online and the first slice of next-gen gaming on offer. If theres no games you'd want on it, you dont want/cant get Xbox Live, already have a great DVD/Music/CD player etc then obviously theres no much point in owning one. I bought it got PGR3 and loved it, played it pretty much every night for a month or so, then got GRAW and a few other titles and same thing loved them, great online with friends etc aswell. At the moment theres no games I'm intrested in buying, so I'm not using it asmuch/at all. Great system though, going to have great support, and future killer games e.g GTA 4 (360 Exclusive at first) Halo 3 and a good few others you may not of heard of yet. Have a look about, if you are intrested in whats on offer and have the money you probably won't regret it.. few do. But if theres nothing intresting from your point of view or you have no money then obviously it wont pay off. Olly.
  22. Good riding, music seemed to suit it ok even though it wasn't to my taste. Unnecessary amounts of advertising at the end there though.. P.S. What was the black frame again? I know its not actually a BT mod frame.. Olly.
  23. I think we have trouble getting either over here.. Bigman just had a pair of Silver DX32's though so he may be able to point you in the right direction Olly.
  24. I loved the way the guy said that to! Comedy..
