  1. I took my bike apart last week to spray it focus RS green. So I had to take the headset out aswell
  2. You don't need anything on it. My XC bike is ally with a ti headset, the headset has been in there for about a year now and it still hasn't siezed together after a year of riding. If you put it in dry you should be fine.
  3. But plastic pedals have got a metal axle running through them, and they're still shit my first pair of gusset PCP pinheads snapped after 1 month.
  4. I wouldn't trust it on my road bike, nevermind bmx
  5. Get an old hub, rim and spokes and just give it a go by looking at a ready built wheel to show you the correct lacing pattern. Thats how I learnt and mine come out fine, just remember to tighten the nipples evenly as you go around the wheel (say 4 full turns on each nipple, then 3 etc.) The beuty of learning with old parts is that if you mess up, you can just take it apart and start again until you get it right.
  6. Plenty of punk and really filthy dubstep.
  7. I used to run a KMC gold on my downhill bike, quite expensive but very strong. I would definitely recommend it.

  9. don't worry haha, Tbirds just a backup if I don't get this Tpro
  10. Tpro hopefully. If not then an old Tbird off a mate.
  11. Haha, it's not being ridden, it's being stripped and sold. Where abouts in birmingham do you live? Maybe we could hook up for a ride when I've got my bike, which shouldn't be too long now.
  12. I have 12mm tunnels in each ear, a 1.6X10mm ring through two holes above the right ear tunnel, and I also have my ballbag done. I used to also have my nose done and 2 surface piercings on my left hand that got ripped out in a fight with some bagheads when they tried to mug me. I'm getting an inverted labret and my nipples done next.
  13. Ok, if you pm me your address then I'll send the money tomorrow morning.

  14. We built a whole street park in an old abandoned factory when I rode BMX, it lasted 14 months before the police found out and we had to leave it. Just keep it on the down low and you should have a lot of fun while it lasts.
  15. Sound, do you know how much postage is going to cost?

  16. That's another idea I was toying with.
  17. Yeah I have, with shimano XTR's, and my canti's are more powerful. This is why I am unsure of what to use. But thanks. I was thinking of welding a new guide on if I needed to.
  18. Hi, I may be getting an onza with vee mounts off a friend, (I think its an old Tbird). I have some mega powerful avid canti's that are about 20 years old that I have run on the front of my XC bike for 4 years now, and can't decide whether to put these on the onza if I get it, or get some new vee's for it, as the vee's that are on it at the moment are plastic. Basically which ones do you suggest. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  19. Hi, interested in these.

19" try-all rim on green GU fixed hub (needs rebuilt) £20

    19" echo cnc rim £10

Would you take postal order, as I don't have paypal?

  20. I don't see the problem with the validation system, in fact I think its a good thing. I have been on many other forums that don't have this system (in fact this is the first that I have seen), and the amount of d**kheads on them that try to argue with everything someone says and just living up to their well earned title is unbelievable. From looking around this forum it is not like that. As someone has already said, this is a TRIALS forum, to mostly talk about trials related things. If you don't want to talk about trials then maybe you should join another forum. By the way, this is not just brown nosing to get validated, this guy has just annoyed me a little bit.
  21. Hi, my name is jack and i am 17. I don't have a trials bike at the moment but am in the middle of buying one from ebay. My background is in bmx, xc, track (velodrome) racing and i have also dabbled in DH. I have always wanted to try trials riding, but never really got round to it. I live in Bromsgrove which is about half an hour from Birmingham, and would like to meet other riders and make some new friends, as well as progressing on my bike.
  22. Normal hoses bulge slightly when you pull the lever, so loses a bit of your braking force, but braided hoses eliminate this bulging so doesn't lose the braking force as much. To be honest though this loss is only slightly noticeable as I had both types on my old DH bike. Braided hoses are more resistant to splitting and cracking so they are worth every penny if you can afford them as they will last longer but they can be quite expensive and if you have a big slam then they could still split. My advice is if you have hydraulics front and rear then get braided just for the rear if you can afford them, and just have normal on the front. as you haven't got the constant rubbing from your shoes/legs on the front hoses.
  23. echo headset onza hog wheels onza bars and stem dmr bashring its on £50 at the moment with week left. i can afford £150 at the most so its got to be 2nd hand whatever bike it is
