  1. I'll be 28 and living life one day at a time and enjoying life, other than having my own tuning garage and meeting the two kids I have running round I dont really have a plan as such.
  2. Just make a spoke tensioner, it's cheap (well, free actually) and they look a hell of a lot better than some chunk of metal stuck to the dropout. They're really easy to make too.

For frames I say fit or s&m. But as has already been said, the sunday frames are really good. I used a fit frame for street for 3 years of hard street bashing and it stood up to whatever I threw at it, my s&m frame stood up to some pretty hefty dirt crashes aswell (including a big one into a tree when I tried 3'ing through a fork in a tree), I can't say anything about how the sunday rides as I have never had one but I know quite a few lads with sundays and they are bloody strong. As for cranks, Premium cranks are full of win, always ran them and I always will. Strong and fairly cheap, they do carry a bit of weight though, so if your bothered with weight then they are probably not for you, although I got around this with a ti axle. JT
  4. You could use a spoke tensioner instead of spending money on a proper tensioner or using the mech.
  5. A friend runs the nukeproof carbon forks on his DJ bike, and has done for a while now. They have survived quite a few big slams and are ridden nearly every day and are still as good as when he brought them new. So yes, they are worth a punt.
  6. They pull the braking force into the forks, rather than away from them. This gives more braking power, yet the forks are more prone to cracking around that area as there is a fair bit more stress put on that area.
  7. I like it. I see my old brake clamps.
  8. F**k off!!! . The leeson is beautiful. NO bike will beat it on looks.
  9. Emailed you from jt0709@live.com. Cheers JT
  10. Yeah, If I were you I'd try an fsa pig headset before you shell out on a new frame. Because the cup seats on that gu headset don't look very deep.
  11. What headset are you using? If the headtube is flared you could try using an fsa pig, as the cups are longer, so they will fit further into the headtube. If this doesn't work then it's new frame time.
  12. You'll have to send me your email, because for some reason the pic isn't uploading on here.
  13. I definatly (spl?) will have a booster. Could ypu do something like the RB booster, but instead of the middle two holes have 'JT' there instead?
  14. My tsg pisspot cost me £25. They're good quality lids too, I even chucked one at the floor at full pelt in the shop to see how it would hold up to big hits. (They have one of each type of lid to do exactly at the shop I got mine from, I wasn't just being a tw*t). It's lasted through 3 years of bmx abuse and is now being used for trials and still going strong, although I dont recomend keeping the same helmet for that long, especially when it's had as many big hits as mine.
  15. Thats kind of what I was thinking, except I didn't think about the last point admittedly (spelling?). Yeah I did realise as soon as I saw her again that I still love her, but me being me, I f**ked it all up first time round & now I don't think she'll ever trust me again, and if I do get back with her I've got to tell her everything so we can start working up trust again. Yet if I do tell her about the other few times it's probably going to f**k it up even worse. Nahh haha, it's more organising things and keeping things tidy, yet not the human body.
  16. Right, I'm in a bit of a headf**k now. I was out with a new girl the other day just having a walk round town & having a little talk. To be honest all I really want is to dip it in her, but she has other ideas, so I was trying to make it clear that I don't really want anything serious. But out of the blue I bump into my ex, now we didn't exactly split up on good terms as I had cheated on her a few times (which she knows about some of them, but not all). Now I'm in no way proud of what I did and up until the other day I thought all my feelings for her had vanished, but as I bumped into her I realised how wrong I was. So I dropped all plans with the girl I was with, and told her that I had to go and that I would phone her later and started to speak to nat (ex). She said she was walking to the hospital (about 1 mile away from town) to get a lift and asked me if I would walk her there. So we got talking as we walked and everything seemed all good. Yet when we got to the hospital she told me she still loved me after everything I had done, and started kissing me, BUT, theres a catch, she's got a boyfriend, yet said she wants to meet up with me later in the week. What the f**k do I do? Stay on the new bird (just a f**k) or go back to my ex (f**k and maybe get back together) behind her boyfriends back? I've been racking my brains for a few days and keep coming to the conclusion that getting back with my ex just won't work because of trust issues, yet she's the one I'd rather be with and try to make it work. I think I'm going insane. Just explain everything to her, I have OCD and tried to keep it from my ex for ages. But hiding it justs eats you up, because you're working so hard to hide it that it gets to a point when it's all you think about when you're with her, and it ends up starting to wreck the relationship. Yet when you open up to her and tell her, it takes alot of stress off your shoulders, and you can really enjoy yourselves.
  17. As mark said, the gusset's are shit. I had a pair on my bmx that only lasted just over a month before they snapped. If I were you I'd get cages.
  18. Then put it in your sig in 2 months when you get it.
  19. I was also 13 when I built my first wheel. Follow this whilst also looking at your other wheel to give you an idea of what its supposed to look like and you should get on pretty well. All you need is a spoke key (about £5), go for the 3in1 type as they give you more versatility to build other wheels aswell due to there being 3 sizes of nipple key on it, and a flat screwdriver. If you are unsure, practise on an old wheel first by taking it apart and putting it back together again, this is what I did and my wheelbuilds turn out pretty good.
  20. Fit key BMX grips are beautiful to hold. Ran them on every bike I've had for 3 years, (BMX, xc, dh, trials). They are only £7 here.
  21. If you are properly helpful towards other new members, then full members are more likely to give you a validation vote. Pretty simple really.
  22. Lazy piston. pull the brake so the pads are out and put some car engine oil on the piston that is causing the problem, keep pumping the brake until the piston eases up a bit.
  23. Not really any benefits for trials, as you don't generate alot of heat like you do riding freeride or downhill (what they are designed for). Although I agree with you about not needing one on a trials bike, they are about the same price as any other decent disc (about £25), so it is not going to be anymore expensive to replace it.
