awesomesauce! cheers so far guys Any other alternatives if I can't find the above? I doubt we have spray mount or hair spray >.<

I did run a search but couldn't find anything So basically, anybody got tips on securing them? Mine slip about quite a lot when I ride. They're the monty ones
-
Rebuilt my trusty monty last week, It's not seen daylight in about a year so I gave her a good workover and replaced a few parts Before rebuild, Crap photo I'm afraid, The bar lights in the garage are mega bright it would seem Here it is, almost finished the rebuild All I really did was give it a clean and a grease, replaced brake lines with stainless braided hose and gave the rear rim a grind
-
WHEY! Cheers dude We're really dream theater influenced, amongst other things got a couple of tracks up on [shameful plug] Thanks for the compliment

I'm changing my interests to raping and pillaging, gonna see if I can get me some adverts for viking lessons

I think to get something spec'd to your height, with the bars, stem, long frame etc you're after it would be more expensive that a more standard stock bike I hope that makes sense? I'm mod for life
-
Is it definitely a click or a quick creak? If you're still using the original cranks, Which i'm guessing are square taper, the BB might be screwed. Mine used to do it all the time when I had them. Upgraded to Echo ISIS cranks and not a sound since if you can't afford to upgrade, try stripping your crankset and looking for signs of wear, then stick it back together making sure to grease where necessary and properly torque up your crank bolts

I'm a trials rider, I don't read! pictures please
-
I'm definitely down for a bit of trolling. Gonna add him later and try to buy his bike

travium? I didn't understand a single word of that i'm afraid, use punctuation. and spacing things out a bit by hitting the return key makes it less daunting to read.

Where To Learn How To Fit Rims
PeanuckleJive replied to tiger rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
The principle is easy, and when you've done it before it's easy but to a total noob it is a pretty big concept. Remembering where each spoke needs to point toward, which length goes where, and how to handle it when you're truing it up Take your time, keep relaxed and use small turns on the nipple when you're truing it up easiest way to work out the lacing is to put your finger on two spoke holes on the hub where the two spokes you're pointing to cross immediately after leaving the hub. Then note which way goes over the other, right or left. then follow these spokes to the rim and note how many spokes go in the gap between the two. Then all you have to remember is "top to the right, gap of 4" or whatever and the rest comes together easy -
Yeah, this has been going on for years, myspace was the first place I saw it If you mentioned that you like a band on your profile and really like to eat biscuits, the ads you see would all be about metallica tickets and rich teas

Nice riding, you're doing good How long you been riding? Look a little unsettled on the backwheel at times but you got where you wanted to go so I guess that's the point Only complaint I have is the constant sepia and slow motion sections got a bit nauseating

Where Do You Get Coloured Pedal Pins From ?
PeanuckleJive replied to joshlyd1's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
You get them from a site called google... Don't see the point though, that coating's gonna last all of what, 4, maybe 5 seconds? -
Screwdriver method is good, if you can access the nut without damaging your forks Or weld a bit of scrap onto the nut and use it as a lever to spin it, if the head's rounded then you ain't gonna be using it again, so you can weld onto it

If you don't mind a mad barrage of cynical (but usually humorous) thoughts, drunken rants and usually quick fire LOLfests, then you can follow me @The_Jive reppin' the camo, bitches
-
Try giving them a proper good set up first, and grind your rim if you wanna upgrade your brakes, you can't go wrong with a magura hs33
-
Only if it's a cable disc ^^ Good quality levers generally do help your brakes a bit, have you tried setting them up properly?
-
It'd be helpful if you said what KIND of brake... V, Canti, Disc, Hs33, other?

I'm from macc! I thought trials had died here to be honest, I've only ever known me and one other guy to ride here and he jacked it in ages ago I'm just getting back into it so I'll probably just spend a bit of time on the walls behind the town wall refreshing stuff like I used to You managed to find anything worth riding yet? also welcome to macc, how you finding it?
-
damnnnn, that was cool! I feel SO far behind all the new blood in trials now after so long away from the sport. great riding, Good job the frame snap at the end didn't happen during anything risky
-
Yeah, what headset is it? if it's fairly cheap i'd imagine it's most likely a buggered bearing, or failing that there's a part missing or the cups weren't seated very well in the frame
-
It hasn't even converted yet, somebody's in a hurry
