  1. You can change midway anyway if you're struggling/ finding it too easy I wanna get along to tyketrial if I can, wouldn't mind giving comps a go
  2. I'm off to Dublin next friday for the weekend, First time I've been. We will be going out on the lash friday and saturday (standard really) Anybody know where is good (read: cheap but not crap) to drink? Open to suggestions for both bars and nightclubs Not too arsed about music but please include what kinda music a club plays if applicable Cheers
  3. morphsuits go with any occasion. seriously >.< If you get really stuck for ideas, just dress normally and when asked what you're meant to be, tell them that some people think you're a dick, so you came as yourself ^^ No offence intended by the way
  4. Depends how far forward you like your bars really the T master stem is a good one though, massive massive reach I use onza flat bars at the mo, I like them too
  5. It looks so familiar but maybe I'm confused with something else >.< cool anyway
  6. I used silicone lube when I rebuilt mine! big up the perfectionists ^^ The lever assembly is dead easy to strip and rebuild, it's pretty much just the lever body, the lever, a spring, and the piston. if this is your first time bleeding with water, you have to REALLY flush the buggers out. I stripped down my brakes entirely when I made the switch from oil to water. Gave everything a proper clean and lube before sticking it all back together and bleeding. It's a fair bit of work, but I reckon it's worth it in the end, and by taking them apart you get rid of 99% of the oil in the system, making it quicker to flush when you get to bleeding
  7. been drinking? It's probably brewer's droop Linear cable and a bit of decent oil as people have already said. bish bash bosh, bob's your mother's brother
  8. +1 whats your avatar? I recognise it i'm sure but can't put my finger on it
  9. No buying or selling allowed in new members chat dude, Read the rules
  10. It beats that one on miniclip, that's for sure. Guess I like old school stuff.
  11. I can't see a naming and blaming section going down all too well to be perfectly honest >.< Scammers are usually banned, that's probably enough shame I think the area descriptions work fine, None really seem to stick out and scream "CHANGE ME"
  12. a clean chain probably would have helped Still, sucks
  13. if there's still threads showing the other side of the lockring, you could use a slightly thicker spacer if you can't find one that thin Or go ask at an engineer's supply, it's a longshot if they'll have anything suited to it, but if they do it'll be DIRT cheap
  14. check the threads aren't knackered, if they're stripped then it won't hold torque no matter how hard you crank it up if the threads are ok, give em a clean and stick it back together with a bit of loctite
  15. Firefox with a few add ons, perfect for me
  16. That's so simple it's actually genius >.<
  17. Maybe it just needs a good clean, I recently serviced my whole brake system and it feels SO much better Take the lever off and have a look at the TPA screw to see if it is indeed stripped, also give the seals on the slave cylinders a clean and lube with gt85
  18. I'm something of a perfectionist when it comes to these things I just looked at the rage bars and they look pretty narrow already, Like the others have said give em a go for a few weeks and see if you get used to then and learn to love em, last thing you wanna do is remove too much meat and wish you had wider bars
  19. if you can't tell if the TPA is working, it's either stripped or you have air (or a leak) in the system pretty much. I've always found it really obvious wether TPA has been applied or not try the bathbleed, see if air comes out of anywhere except the bleed holes if you have a leak on any of your main lines, Shoot me a PM as i've got two full length lines that need freecycling
  20. Decent 3d trials game? Motoracer 3. /Thread
  21. I used the locks from an old pair of lock on grips when I cut mine down, clamp one on with the outside edge lined up with where you wanna cut, then rest your hacksaw blade next to it, line the other clamp up next to that loosely and clamp that one on too cut in the slot it creates, perfectly straight handlebar ends! Then round them off a bit with a smooth flat file or a bit of wet n dry paper
  22. I have no idea of the age though I still have the red old style HS33 that came with the bike, but one of the levers has cracked round the bleed screw and leaks now. It had onza muscleman cranks on it which might be right for the times I guess Once I get my new wheels for my monty I'll be sticking these back onto the vario and then it's practically the same as when I bought it
  23. Awesome. I wonder If I know anything about my bike and might be an avid collector who'd like to buy it?
  24. I want the seat thingy! Sounds like it'd be awesome! now, where's a vario owners club when you need one?
  25. MAN! I was hoping that's what it was I want one. I want one now. and I'm gonna put a playing card on the chainstay so it sounds like a motorbike too Aye, I once saw a 26" for sale, but just once Does nobody have any info? How rare/ desirable are these things?
