  1. don't poop on the rug welcome to the forum
  2. if you really wanna try it, maybe you could go for a starter kit from somewhere, they're not too expensive and they're gonna give you the lowdown on the whole affair before you dive into huge tubs of acid and stuff. I can't remember the name of the catalogue, but there's a classic car restoration supplier that we used to have lying around at my old job all the time that sold them, and they weren't all that expensive
  3. I've heard that it's ridiculously expensive there, so I guess we're looking for cheap bars by dublin standard, I know we'll never find anything to match some of the bars in england What's alcohol price like in a supermarket? We'll probably predrink if we can
  4. Yup Grip the little nubby and pull the pistons out, then twist your grips slightly so they rest on two of the little tabs that stick out so you can keep the pistons out while you bleed Make sure you don't take the grips off until you've fully bled and reinstalled the bleed screws
  5. downgrade then blackra1n when you run blackra1n, install cydia, it's the best appstore by far I dunno how I could live with an unjailbroken iphone, I played with one for the first time in a while the other day and was just stumped as to what I could actually do with it >.<
  6. F*kken LOL yeah seriously dude, please try harder with the spelling, I got a headache reading your first post
  7. yeah, we've decided we're doing that for sure. should be pretty good not got anything else lined up really yet, probably wander and see what leaflets we find
  8. +2 welcome to the madhouse forum
  9. we're doing the test of wether it really is better in ireland, the departure lounge should have a bar right? We need an 8am pint of guiness before we go
  10. that's the same boat i'm in, exactly the same in fact it's okay if you have a passenger to change artists for you, or if you don't have much on your ipod. but i'm nigh on 300 artists so it's just a ballache. I just got the tom tom satnav app on my iphone plus a windscreen mount so my thinking is that i can use voice control to select artists and it's gonna be hassle free to the max
  11. I do mostly, but sometimes it's just too cold >.< How do you not get your leopard skin toga caught in the backwheel caveboy? oh aye! didn't think of that Sweet, full ring it is
  12. I've known a guy who tried it before, And he gave it up pretty quickly. It's really unpleasant stuff to work around as well, I'd rather just send my stuff away than deal with the hassle if you really wanna do it, then I guess it's your choice but I don't think there's all that much money in it on a small scale.
  13. I'm in the market for the same thing too, so I'm just gonna sit here and spectate ^^ At the minute I'm just rocking it through the aux port, but the tomtom app is terrifying through your car speakers haha
  14. get the bolt out and then assess the coil I reckon, it might be that you got a crappy bolt and the coil is totally fine before you get the bolt out, it isn't too long and bottoming out on the frame is it?
  15. cheers! sometimes wearing shorts just ain't feasible and it would be nice to be able to get the bike out no matter what i'm wearing and not worry about it capturing me Might just make my own bashguard, Probably got the material somewhere everybody else, thanks for the lulz ^^
  16. http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/ or just ask tarty >.<
  17. with a socket set you could enough torque on it, I'm sure it would work well enough, especially if he doesn't fancy blowing 80quid on something that's probably only get what, 2 uses in it's lifetime?
  18. Basically, Other than riding round with my trousers tucked into my socks like some faggot chav, how can I stop myself getting tangled up? whatever I try never seems to work Do we reckon a bash ring would stop it? I don't really need a bashring on a mod bike I know, but if it means I can ride without being tangled I'm down for that
  19. yup! They'll be hard to drill out, it would probably be way easier to try to spin the one you have out and put a new one in where did the bolt snap, flush to the frame or further up? if you can't get molegrips round it because it's in the frame, try getting a little grinder (like a dremel or similar) and grind a little slot into it, then use a flat screwdriver to spin it
  20. use some real thin disassembly lube to penetrate round the bolt and hopefully make it easier to remove I had two bolts stuck into my magura mounts when I rebuilt my monty, I got them out with mole grips, penetrant and an hour or so of swearing. No damage done to the mount threads either if you haven't snapped the tang off the bottom of the helicoil yet, you might be able to use that to help remove the helicoil later I've no real experience with them though, Never ever had to use em
