    Deng?

sorry if this is a stupid question but, what is deng?
  2. hes not selling. he just wants advise on what to get. there is a massive chioce of good bikes secondhand for about £400.
  3. put some silicone lube on the pistons to make it really lubey, spray isnt as good, what was you using to lube them up? have you been riding in the rain or straight after its been cleaned, if so that could be the reason for the black crap on the pads/rim. if not i think that you need a new set of cylinders if your sure its a oil leak coming from them. EDIT beaten to it on the wet surface.
  4. cheers, its not so bad after all.
  5. yo everyone, selling my bike and so want to put it in a box so i can sell it, right now whats the best way to make it fit? is it just to take the handle bars of, as not really sure as it is my first time sending, so hows it done? cheers
  6. report it to the police they should stop it.
  7. cheers thanks alot mate, my hub is fine now but will upgrade soon but money is the issue.
  8. just looked at some vids and it turns out that it does need truing as all of the problems i saw in the vid and how to sort them.
  9. not really, you can jiggle the rim a little if you hold a pad in them pump the lever so the other pads moves it, how do you tru a rim? yeah the pads are defo touching the rim but not the tyre, cheers for help.
  10. any ideas guys? need this sorted asap.
  11. hi there, right so when i spin my wheel it goes around for about 3/4, the rim fine without the brake pads touching but as on the last 1/4 with the rim the pads hit the rim and it getts jammed badly, once i have got passed the jamming stage it just repeats. its not my hub as just fixed that and is really smooth without wobbling, the wheel seems straight so im putting it to reason that its the spokes causing this problem, what do you guys think??? will tightening the spokes stop this problem??? can i just buy one of these and tighten it on the bike??? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=2010&category_id=31. cheers, gotta learn this somewhere lol.
  12. cool, whens the full vid out? how comes your not allowed your bike?
  13. new chain and cut forks then your onto a winner
  14. cheers guys, just done it and worked! the vid really helped.
  15. id say longer because you can get more leverage there for making the brake feel stronger. but the standard one is ok. but i prefer long.
  16. ah cool, i was just screwing the locknuts in ( while holding the other one with another spanner, so thats not right?? i have always done that though)in so it was ok but then goes again, so i need to get the cones at the right place which is the bit before the locknut?? then tighten the locknuts really hard u say? i thought that the locknut pushes the cones in to stop the wobble. cheers for the help and sorry for the really noob question.
  17. sweet, that might be the problem will try it tomorrow, cheers EDIT is the lock nut inside the silver nut on the hubs?, hear the one that i have http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=103&category_id=62 i have been tightening the silver nuts so it doesn't wobble. (not the axel one that tightens on the frame )
  18. hi there, my hub keeps going wobbly, its a cheap onza open bearing one, it was wobbely then i took it to the LBS and it came out nice and smooth without no wobble, the day after it started wobbling ( was doing basic stuff) so i tightened up the cones.its ok for a short while then starts going wobbly so i tightened the cones up again ( done this 3 times when it got wobbely) but it still wobbles badly, what should i do?, just keep tightening it up when it does wobble? its pack full of grease. so any ideas on what to do? exept get a new hub which im getting soon. the chain was nice and tight but i dont think it was that tight to break the bearings. cheers oh and sometimes it only wobbles in certain parts of the wheel, always in the same place and other parts of the wheel its nice and sturdy. EDIT sorry if i have repeated wobbles or wobbly so many times
  19. here you go, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=1 just looking and there is no thread on the bashring so im assuming it just slides on before the freewheel.
  20. ah so its normal then and its just a change of the site, i thought it was just me, cheers mmm it is gay, whats the point as no one will see it?
  21. take the crank arm of your bike with the freewheel attached, remove the freewheel like it explains on tartybikes, take the spacer out somehow (assuming you have one) then screw the bashring on, after that attach the freewheel on the cranks
  22. hi there, when logging in yesturday the side bit on the main page is all wrong, at the top it shows "related videos" and then it shows the new topics like usual but it doesnt show the statuses, any one know how to put it up normal? cheers
