    Ot: Linux---Ps3

true work-arounds are fun, lol really they should of made the firmware to decrease the chances of hacks etc, work-arounds take time so by developing blocks early they can atleast stay ahead (or hire the hackers like all the other tech companies lol), i was considering it as curiosity is kinda one of my downfalls, but at the time of the update i was without a tv an since getting one took longer than expected i was gaggin for some online c.o.d.4 so had to update i'll be reading any news i see about it an hopefully they will remove the block for those that as in my first post needed a cheap but powerful blu-ray pc, if they do i will have a go myself (partially to use the psx emulater with a proper ps controller, as i've still got some games somewhere)
  2. ok i'll start by saying this is not a debate about which os is best. since the recent firmware update playstation will not be able to run linux (standard on the slims) now i know sony are being sued over this at the mo (see attached .pdf) and obviously if there are any other linux users on here you will know that we can find ways to make it run on anything lol but having this feature was not only a key selling point for many people but a necessity as a second hand ps3 was a cheap alternative to a blu-ray capable pc my opinion, the ps3 is a GAMES console and partially a media server/centre if i want you use a linux i'll boot up my laptop or desktop etc i am ok with sony's decision to remove it as people were hacking full games to the ps3 harddrive and similar hacks (none of which i am capable of nor condone) so whats your opinion on this must dash to work, i look forward to peoples opinions when i get back gov.uscourts.cand.226894.1.0.pdf

    Site Safe?

the best way to find that out is use them but pay with paypal, if somethings not right use paypal to get money back, but a business will aim to satisfy so i doubt you'll have major trouble with em
  5. cheers i'm sick of people, even more so when i was into jump and dh always saying other peeople were shite just because a jump was too big etc, they even did it to noobs which is just plain wrong we're meant to inspire an attract people to the sport not give em a roasting an put em down. my first trials bike was inspired by the early early bmx trials bikes after seeing some gasgas ones at hawkstone park 1.. get a bmx 2..nick the small chain ring off a kids 12" wheeled bike 3.. rob some huge motorbike bars from my father 4.. modify a mtb quill stem to fit 5.. tune up brakes 6.. hope to god it stayed in one piece
  6. i'll pm you closer to payday to meet i couldn't take the stem for free so i'll chip you a fiver atleast you can get smokes or a beer if the stem is for os bars

  7. have a mooch on facebook he should be on there, yh i'll drop you a pm closer to payday an we could meet up i've never really had super long stems so unsusre of having he weight that far forwards but i may prefer it, i just dont know lol got a front maggie sorted an went off vee's a long time ago i know i sound ungrateful but i want to get the main spec right to save money in long run like just replacing pads tyres etc as they wear, i'll never be good enough to snap a frame (only ever snap 2 x-ces's and a 2.six (saracens lol) or probably any other parts, i just enjoy having a bounce around oh is the stem for 31.8 bars
  8. im goin for a adjustable tensioner as i got a 140mm bb axle (brought because i wasn't sure on clearance) what chain is it i get paid at end of month
  9. i've seen him twice in the last 3 years, he's on that facebook bollocks, i thinks he's riding a pace these days cheer but i think 110mm is too long i'll be doin street mainly so prob go for something around 70-90 pm a list of what you got as i get paid at end o month
  10. hahaha may have to invest in one full details here http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=151066&st=0&p=2120819&#entry2120819

  15. My latest attempt to try trials has turned out to a be a stupendously slow one (monthly pay, next to *beep* all hours an refusing to sign on dole). So how do you guys/girls/mole people cope when your out of action?
  16. what about a quality bmx set an run them on the inside of the frame
  17. i sorta remember that from high school, may see if fair oak's d.t. teachers remember me (or at least ones i didn't p!ss off) 3mm poly would prob be perfect hmmm damn you tarty, may just wait till drop on one on ebay, someone splittin an ashton
  18. mm good plan will ring em once i get the bike actually ridable lol they do look pimp though i was gonna knock on up from a rear bike mudgaurd an some random other bits but it'd be like having an old ddg sofa seat, like all the dh riders years ago my metal skills were in tube manipulation so doin a sheet fender seat would be too hard lol, makin a bracket is pretty easy though
  19. top vimeo vids, most oh the other bleed vids i've seen don't give off the right info oh and the hover bike was pretty cool

  20. won't that make the frame more likely to snap at the mounts? (i know the hole won't be that big but it's got affect it somehow) not too keen on the idea of drilling and cuts out
  21. hi this is a bit early to be properly thinking about this (bike is a fair few parts missing) but i want to get a ashton fender seat to give my t-rex a more moto look obviously i'd need to knock up a bracket to make it fit from the seat plate the onza's have but that shouldn't be to hard. does anyone know a store/site stocking them? n.b. i'm not fussed about weight before anyone mentions as i'll just work my strength up to suit the rig
  22. sounded like a blackadder moment baldrick it was higher than a high thing on top of a high hill, lol
  23. where's my wank sock lol looks pimp as, now brush you shoulder off
