  1. W40 on the rim, then hot soapy water, then more hot water = Clean Rim I did this to remove oil from it.. I'm not refering to soap but to detergent.
  2. Gu Le . Here in Rosario, Argentina there are four Gu Le including mine that will arrive soon. We always test a frame and if it is good we all buy the same one. At the moment I'm riding a Gu TP 2008 that is more or less similar in geo.
  3. Yep I bought rockman rims / hubs and evrything was perfect. They replied the mails very soon and sent the parts exctly when they said they wolud
  4. Yeah riding with no brakes is great fun
  5. I've got a kenda navigal ST dual ply on the rear (stock). I never have punctures and it's long-lasting but is FAR TOO HEAVY and it does't bounce rightly. It does have a lot of grip but not proably compared with a Der Kraiser and so..
  6. rockman and try all holes are exactly the same rims
  7. jejjejeje nah seriously its easier to organize a BIU comp in my country for example (Argentina) If not everybody complains about the score PD: I never bash, RIDE IT UCI
  8. Bought some rockman rims and hubs there.. Great service..
  9. I can't get tensile products in the dealer where I'm buying I suppose I should go for the Echo and try it. I can always sell it anyways
  10. Well I suppose going for the Echo Sl 2-bolt booster is my best bet. Yes!!! By the way nice setup The booster was new? Did you set it up correctly? Wich frame where you using it with?
  11. I've managed to fix a snake bite with one dirty patch cut in two halves and it still lasts (more than 2 months) . The tire is probably the problem ( I recommend useing a dual-ply Maxxis High-Roller stick-e ) .. You may be also using a very narrow rim.. Hope it helps you
  12. I'm buying a new frame as well as a booster (Magura) . The Echo SL booster looks nice BUT it's made from 6061 alloy. I know there are some others from 7075 alloys and carbon fibre (which are not in stock in the shop where I'm buying ) . Does anybody has one Echo SL booster?? What's your personal opinion??
  13. Maybe that frame was made to be used with a bashplate and not using it made it weaker?? Sorry if I'm wrong and also hope you're riding again soon
  14. Hi, A friend of mine and I are both looking for a new pure trials frame. Currently we are riding Gu Tp 26" frames. I was waiting for the new Kortz to arrive in Tarty but it's more expensive that what I had thought. (3400 Argentina Pesos) For only 640 Argentina Pesos (each) we can get Zhi Z3R frames (1080mm BB hight 60mm chain stays 380mm head angle 72° weight: 1650g ). Do you know anything about these frames? Any other good frame you recomend? ( stock with high BBs ) Thanks, Juan Manuel
  15. You can always use the same axle (if it isn't broken) , buy two bearings and use only the outside part (on the inside the axle) and put a spacer in between very tight (the one wich is used for small diameter handlebars and normal stems is ideal). Then the bearings enter in the bb cups perfectly and you get a cheap, lightweight repaired BB. Sorry for my english, I don't know if it's understandable PD: I've done that with my First BB and now it works perfeclty
  16. Because you wont snap it and it'll still be easier to bleed than using a splitter... If you don't have much experience bleeding a brake i wouldn't use a splitter.
  17. Hi, Here in Rosario, Argentina almost everyone buys Echo Urban forks. However the Trialtech one is probably better.
  18. Hi, I started trials riding a MTB which I used for 6 months. It's harder to progress but if you do, then with a trials specific bike you will find some things very easy. I was able to climb 85cm with the front wheel and there are some other things you can try
