-
that was a sweet up to front there! nice riding!
-
this makes sense, thanks for that lad
-
jesus did you not read what i posted above, i just said how they work!
-
this could be it, but i'm using zhi booster however it only reduces flex not removes it completely :/ In my opinion, no they're shit, but that's probably my feeble mind, and i find normal maggy mounts 1000 times more annoying
-
Echo TR mounts are CNCed so they fit perfectly square on the frame mounts (and they don't use washers) and there for in theory keep the pad square against the rim... filing the the mounts on the frame make all the mount blocks square and level in comparison with each other both of the above added together in theory should have the pads/brake perfectly square against the rim sidewall

did you not read the first post, the problem is they're wearing at a funny shape and i don't want to ruin more refills ?
-
your cool profile picture thing ! but yeha you have a point but i've just like destroyed some rockman blues in like a month because of bad setup and i don't like spending me moneh i didn't complain i asked a question....
-
right, i need you knowledge, i'm rather shit at setting up pads square, i can't seem to do it and i don't really know what to do but i may have nailed it this time... first thing is i have Echo TR mounts and i have filed the mounts on frame, so i can't see any way of making pads any squarererer now i just got heatsink yellow refills, and put em in in the heatsink backings properly using a proper vice so the pads are square to the backings, and i set em up with the TR mounts and so on they looked square to me, and the pads are amazing great hold and good bite, but now they've started to wear they're wearing in a sort of "V" or "U" shape (however they still have great hold and good bite.... :/ now is this the wear normal? or am i ruining another set of refills? pics will be up in a minute

that's looking amazing...wondering a) how did you get the inner tube , on the above connector to stay central in the outer tube (where the down tube would connect) b)how've you made the headtube? just a normal bita tube with the cut out for the headset cups milled out? sorry for the bad explanations above, good work though looking like some lovely welds there

they feel like soft velvet silk. but yeah t'is a lovely bike

oh wait, i had the pro 2009, but the 2010 brakes are the same, the bike is perfect for a beginner, the only things i can see wrong are: the pedals aren't very grippy at all you'd be better taking out one of the cage walls, and then the brakes can be made to be amazing, but, on the rear of the bike you need a stronger brake, now, you could get a 180 mm rotor (either buy one, swap it with the front or steel it)and put the 180mm rotor on the back but you may also need to buy another caliper mount that's a different size (this will cost you about £15-25, and it's only be done when you're good enough to balance get up stuff and you want to start to back wheel hop. on the other hand when you get ready to back wheel hop by a magura set up which will cost you around £60-80 for a new one and a decent set of pads.

holy shit,he up to fronted on that wee tree stump, he should be pro! ... oh,wait
-
good idea, i'm sure they'll all be watching it pah all in a days ride, still haven't got my £250 from you've been framed for the first one.... p.s that's how you spell sore, been tryin to work it out for ages... what's the definition of dud?
-
no good bails...don't put any in. film rolling gaps better when you have tripod. everyone didn't mean edit it out, everyone meant do it until you don't put your foot down, then you don't have to edit out shit bit to make it look unconvincingly less shitter(Y)
-
smooth moves sista you have improved loads since i last saw you i swear! If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down
-
finally. first 2 clips were shit if your gunna show a bail show a good one an example of this: another: also rolling gaps look shit when there's just a blur going across the screen so get part of the run up in the shot...and the last sidehop, make it look believable by riding along the wall or at least getting balance you get me? other than that truly amazing riding ability
-
errr from a beginners point of view great starter bike however you'll wanna swap the discs round so it's 180mm on back, instead of the 160mm they give you, although you'll need new/different caliper mount things....then change to rear maggie when you get good ish

i had an old echo urban and it had to many grinds and i dented it so much that half the sidewall was missing and i still rode that for 3 or 4 weeks until i decided to bend out the dent and there was a crack down the middle of the sidewall, and the tyre pressure pushed it out, so it rubbed on my maggies, and then i rode that for another week or 2 and then i bought an echo TR rim and popped it on, then i went shipley about 2-3 weeks ago and i put a wee dent in my new ish TR which had only had one grind on it so the dent wouldn't pull out as there was still a load of sidewall, so i didn't bother....i'm gunna buy a new rim tommorow echo sl 2011 ...i don't like the look of the small dent in my rim , and the rim may now implode because of it...the echo urban makes a nice picture frame..... and i may just chuck the TR because of the wee dent it might explode....
