I use them to keep the hoses tidy. As with any hydraulic system, fluid takes the path of lease resistance. so if you have a lazy cyclinder, a splitter will make no difference

They are shit, you need to get the hose length perfect to each slave or one is a lot faster than the other, and it uses more fluid to bleed.

sorry i know i always have problems with my magura but this is it on its last legs i think now, the piston swelled a bit so i sanded didnt work sanded again didnt work sanded again didnt work then sprayed shit loads of silicon oil into the hole and it started moving freely so i rebled. i ws pulling brake lever and it felt shit and piston was getting stuck in again and i kept pumping lever and there was this like huge pop and water pissed everywhere all over the floor. i took lever off and piston came out and tw%tted my thumb pretty hard, i put it all in again rebled and it done same thing this is what it was like before it exploded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dpC9T1n_WQ&feature=youtu.be

you'll have to get echo tr piston. fits the same, works perfect.

how do i take the slaves apart ?! never knew this could be done i have now bled and one side is snappy and fat but other is slow and the lever ha like 2mm of play

it was my lever piston thing i put my spare one in and lever works great just need to bleed

ah ok thanks, im not sure if it needs to be done though my problem is that the brake pads keep sticking on when im on back wheel and let brake off it does it, but if im pulling lever when not on bike they move quite snappy
