  4. We are meeting at midday at Whitcliffe Mount School (directions and address below) Feel free to pop along, show your face etc. Contact me on my mobile (07885 880338) or PM me on here. Whitcliffe Mount School Turnsteads AvenueCleckheaton BD19 3AQ<br jstcache=0">Get Directions How to Find Us Below are directions to Whitcliffe Mount from the motorway (nearby) and from Cleckheaton town centre. From the motorway network (M62) Leave the M62 at junction 26 following exit signs for the A638 (Dewsbury & Cleckheaton).Once “below” the motorway on the Chain Bar roundabout take the A638 (Dewsbury & Cleckheaton) heading south. After approxiamilty ¼ mile turn right at the traffic lights into Whitchapel Road.Follow Whitchapel Road (uphill) for approximately ½ mile to the “T” junction at the top.Turn left and the school can be seen in front of you.Car parking is at a premium. The first entry gives access to the Sports Centre car park. The second entry (black gates) gives access to the smaller car park and the main entrance to the school. These are usually two free visitor’s parking spaces near the ramp but otherwise parking here can be difficult. From Cleckheaton Town Centre Follow the A638 (signposted as Bradford) in a northerly direction.Approximately ¼ mile north of the town centre (and after a bend) the school is signposted – turn left here into Whitcliffe Road.Follow Whitcliffe Road uphill (approximately ½ mile) at which point it curves to the right and becomes Turnsteads Avenue.Car parking is at a premium. Hey guys, I currently have the start of a chest piece and a full calf piece and the chest positively was more painful! haha! I want a lot more though. I also have a one-off Vertical Labret offset, my bridge, nose ring, tongue twice and my lobes stretched to 26mm. I have had literally everything pierced at some point haha!!

haha that was a well fast reply didn't even notice ha. should be good though if weather turns sunny:)

  9. I am just wondering... with it being Summer, have you tried foam grips instead of gloves? Much comfier and cooler for the warm weather!
  10. I have been completely destroying my DMR grips and I fancy some foam grips. Trialtech ones feel and ride great, I have tried my friends out and no complaints from me!
  11. Hey!! I will try answer some of the stuff I have read haha!! Erm.. Yes I live in Cleckheaton - it has a few spots I ride when I get the chance. Saturday will be an earlyish ride - 11am sort of thing. 26" wont get you anywhere any faster than a 20" - ask Bronz - I have a mod and he rides stock and we still arrive at the same time. 20" is much easier to learn on and generally cheaper to start with. I really should get facebook for riders haha
  12. In my area there are very few riders so I mainly ride solo, but recently I have become more involved with the Leeds riders and travel most weekends to that neck of the woods for a ride. The other riders are a great asset because they help and inspire me to push myself at a more suitable rate than if I was to ride solo the whole time. Solo riding can be fun but I like the atmosphere of riding with mates. Going back to my thread about the variety of people I ride with. Controversial as it seems to have become, I think that explains best why I prefer group rides
  13. onzaboymark - well it does seem that you have had the crappy end of a varied stick. Of course fashion/trends are going to appear in things, its just what happens when people look at something and see it as the better option, they begin to follow. But MY EXPERIENCE OF TRIALS does not have the same outlook as yours. I suppose you could say everything is the same? BMX has cliches like the skinny jeaned, polo shirt hardcore kids group, the baggy clothed laid back groups, the brake-less groups, the free-coaster lovers, the old school riders, the true to the man groups... etc...etc...etc Inline has the same kind of groups, the gangster end of the spectrum and the skinny jean end...etc...etc Skateboarding has the 'mosher groups' the 'emo' groups, the 'hippy' groups etc...etc...etc This could go on and on segregating people but as you can see the overall response on this thread is that people have been introduced to other people who view life different, do live in new ways and so forth. They are effectively broadening their horizons. Personally, I have not seen the same level of self-being in Trials as I have in BMX, inline, boarding . As a inline skater, and having played with BMX and skateboarding, they all have a pronounced long standing hatred of each others sport (not everyone FYI) In trials thus far I have not come across the same problem. I was being broad in my context of the original thread - Evidently others prefer to nit-pick.

  15. The group of people I have begun to ride with is such a varied group of people, its fantastic! Stereotypes get thrown out the window when it comes to riding, or at least that is the picture I am getting from it. I ride with people who prefer tracksuits; people who are pierced; people who ride stock; people who ride mod; street style riders; natural riders; older riders; younger riders; long haired; short haired; people who like hip-hop; people who like trance; people who like dub-step; people who like rock music. So many types of people all come together to ride their bikes without discrimination from others. Apart from the more than common' "why has your bike got no seat?" That is one of the major reasons that I love to ride, not the fitness aspect, not the challenge, but the sense of community and support everybody has for one another. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
  16. I seem to be the only one I know of. I have seen a few ride through in the past but never had the opportunity to ask for contact details!
  17. Quality riding lads! I love riding Leeds, its a great place, all my riding buddies congregate there
  18. haha Cheers JD! Sorry for the whinging I try to make my posts easy to understand and generally acceptable to all. Obviously not everybody will appreciate but glad you do
  19. Finally Validated! Cheers to everyone how sent in a validation request :)

  20. Stunning looking bike I have always loved the GU Tp08! I couldn't afford the frame so settled for GU bars haha
  21. Hey guys, I am needing to do some tweaks and adjustments to my bike and I was wondering if you could help me. If any of you can link me to some good how to videos on the following topics, I would massively appreciate it Water BleedingMagura Hose ShorteningCheers
  22. To Revolver - Good thoughts in that one. To Jackibrap - Tarty Bikes will always be the best in my eyes, but for the urgency of a Sunday fix it was brilliant. I dont know if that guy was in, the guy who did my freewheel was a younger lad with a stretched ear.I will have to check that video To anybody else - Just to clarify I am not putting down the store, just sharing my experience that day
  23. too be honest I have removed them before and I know they can be a pain, but it was a 2second job with the vice.
