  1. Heya, i'm buying my first trials bike soon and it has brand new handsome dog forks, sounds good but couldn't find out anything about them. Can someone shed me some light as they look great but would just like to know about them Cheers
  2. Blake

    My T-Pro.

Sick, how much was that baby?
  3. Nick them, have a look for any houses around with a skip, especially if they are having work done on them. just have a look around your neighbourhood, helps if it's at about 5 o'clock as no will be around to ask what you're doing
  4. CHEERS FOR THE VOTE! : Yay, thanks dude, now I can get a bike on this site. and thanks for the disk brake advice
  5. Hello all, I was talking to my friend today about brakes and he mentioned that disks can easily break. He went on and said that if you mess up a side hop and tap the disk it can break and then you have to pay £20 for a new one. I had never even considered this and wondered if it was true or not. Cheers, George
  6. No way, That rear wheel is definitly 19"
  7. Hello. I've read a lot on this website that a well set up and well maintained V brake can often be as good or even better than a hydraulic rim brake. I Was just wondering, is this true and if so how can I keep my V brakes (on my mountain bike, haven't got a trails yet!) well maintained. Thank you George P.S. Votes are appreciated, sorry to mention it but this is my fourth topic and i've posted lots of comments and still not had a single vote!
  8. Hello I've been really into trials for a few months now but I still hear (or read) things I don't understand, and I often hear about different types of trials. I obviously know what street trials riding is but i've heard the word natural a lot and can someone tell me what it is? and maybe a few other types of trials if there are any. Big thanks! George
  9. Heya, I recently read that the onza bird '09 doesn't have a good back break, I wondered if anyone know this is true as I have been considering getting one Cheers!
  10. True but I would only really use it downhill, even if I do have to stretch out my legs while doing it, as apposed to having my feet on the pedals.
  11. I might try one of these, but thanks for all the ideas guys, I appreciate the help
  12. I have an older version, the rear brake is shocking. Debating getting hydraulic rims
  13. I did squeeze the metal with pliers a few times but it just kept getting worse and in the end I just had to tape it together :/. But i've considered getting new brakes but I doubt I can afford new ones at the moment, so I might take the brakes off a spare bike we have. I'll have a look tomorrow, my bike isn't with me at the moment.
  14. Hello, sorry if this sounds stupid but I swear I can remember seeing a seat that you can clip onto the frame of a mod trials bike (with a frame like an onza rip or onza bid). Just wondered because a seat would make a mob my perfect bike. Cheers
  15. Drinking rockstar seems worst for me, I had a rockstar punched after doing some dirt jumps on my mountain bike, then I rode home and felt horrible. I just had to sit down and felt like I was going to throw up, but I seemed to walk off the feeling, but i'm glad I didn't do trials if just riding home made me feel like crap!
  16. Hey, I don't have a trials bike but I would love to start trials biking, and the onza rip seems the best first bike to get, as I don't have loads of money to throw out, but i'm not sure about the brake. The thing is, my mountain bike has the same type, I think it's called V-brakes? but anyway, I was doing jumps on it and a bit bent on the brake, meaning it wouldn't pull the pads to the rim, or pull anything because one side of the brake came off, sorry if this is hard to follow, i'll post pictures if you're confused. But the bending resulted in me having to put tape on the brakes so they would pull the pads to the rim, but it's lost all the break power and takes about 30 feet to stop when i'm going at about 20MPH. Any ideas? sorry If i'm confusing George
  17. Hi, my name is George and I found out about trials last year and I am saving for an onza rip. I currently ride a falcon mountain bike but I would love a trials bike
