    My Rear Wheel

But sometimes the bearing bolts tighten with the axel bolts, is this normal?

    My Rear Wheel

I've got an onza t-pro so no gears to keep the chain tight I normally just pull back my wheel to tighten it, as apposed to using my snail cams. . . .
  3. Hello I am having trouble with my rear wheel, It never keeps the chain tight and sometimes moves to the left when I tighten it, causing it to hit the frame and not be able to spin. Is there something wrong with the bearings as it's an open hub and therefore can be damaged easily. Can I fix this or can I get a new rear wheel with a better hub for around £40? P.S. The hub is a monty quanto I believe.
  4. Sorry I didn't really mean engagement points ali something my friend once mentioned... so should I just get another square taper?
  5. Hello! as title says really, are isis stronger or square taper? I don't care which are better in performance, just what lasts longer I know square taper are cheaper and have less engagement points or something? but are isis worth the extra money? Cheers!
  6. Yes I am (love the booster BTW) they're good with the right tools, however I own the wrong tools but only realised recently that they're wrong. are icetools good alan keys?
  7. true, it is my alan key that is one mm to small I need new ones
  8. Hey, I got a second hand echo SL booster not too long ago and it came with echo bolts, to start with they looked epic and they screwed in really nicely, I think they are aluminium? However the rest of my bolts are steel and they are so much better after a while, I found they don't round off easily at all and they're really tough, however my echo bolts have started rounding off already and think because it's a softer metal. Has anyone else found this or am I just crap at tightening bolts?
  9. If you have an old washer it may be creased, meaning tightening the bolts will move the slaves to whatever shape the grooves are. Either buy new washers or wrap them in tape if your cheap

    My New Mod

Are gu frames strong? Would love a gu but not sure on strength. That bike is incredible!
  11. Well my bike has been sprayed before anyway so I don't think it will chip any worse than now. . . . So how long should the process take in total?
  12. Right, basically I've decided to spray my onza t pro 2007 frame to a dark blue (similar colour to the gu le frame) and basically I'm not sure how to do it. So i'm going to have to take off everything from the frame, meaning I will need a crank remover and a chain link remover to get rid of the back wheel, but I can leave the bottom bracket in right? So what do I need and how much of each? How many millilitres of nitromors and paint will I need, what else do I need and how should I spray the frame? How many layers of paint do I need and what should I do between layers? Thanks for the help in advance
  13. Would wearing more protective padding help? Like spinal protection? That way you know when you fall you won't get too badly hurt, just a few bruises but no broken bones. So before a big drop you can say to yourself "got my spinal protection on, i'll be fine". sort of like a placebo but it works as well
  14. There's nothing wrong with learning trials with flat bars, my bars have very little rise and it's fine. Untill you get good (hopping onto walls four foot high), there is no need to change anything unless it brakes or peforms poorly. Otherwise you end up with an amazing bike that you can't ride properly.
  15. Sure people can squeeze harder with their right hand? I wouldn't change it on a bmx, but I can see why people do. . . .I can squeeze harder with my right hand (i'm right handed) so it makes sense.
  16. Post a spec, all we know is the frame. However the frame is nice
