  1. As with yourt last video, that truely was amazing Jamie. You are an amazing rider, keep at the sport and you will be a master at trials. Sad that your bike cracked though, got any other frames in mind? Hopefully when im in leeds next year i can ride with you! Great vid, keep it up mate!
  2. Oh sorry, i just thought it was possible that the gap between the bit with threads on it and the bit with the teeth on it could have a tiny bit of gravel in it causing it to scrape around both parts of the freewheel. Hopefully One of the suggestions that someone wrote will fix this. New pads should also be a win. Actualy now to think of it, i failed a sidehop the other night and hit my chainstays, possibly hitting my cams causing them to move (the space between the teeth is big as the teeth were cut into it) so maybe the snail cam bolt is inbetween the teeth? causing to make the wheel move over ever time i put pressure on the pedal? If not, it has to be the bb or freewheel. But with the scrape around the rim its also something to do with the pointy bits on the cylinder. Thanks to everybody who helped!
  3. Spongyness can be caused by frame flex. By your username i will guess that you ride a rockman? Not sure but since quite alot of rockmans are known to be very light and well, 'snappy', maybe if you whack a 4-bolt booster on it, it should stop the flexing. If your gonna get a new brake, get the 05 maggy hs33, 2010 maggy hs33. The SL can only be oil bled, and most oil bleeds feel horrendous. Also the reason for not suggesting the new hs11 is that i used my mates and because of the long lever it causes the brake to be extremely spongy, and his frame moves out like mad! I think its onzas that are know to have flexy plastic-like chainstays, and his is an onza bird 2010 so that might be his problem.
  4. Could be a little tiny one in therre (gravel, like i metioned lol). Dont post unless your going to be usefull. I will try all of this as soon as i find my crank remover tool, its deffinitly coming from the cranks and im buying new pads so it will be fixed when ever somebody buys my stuff! haha. Cheers, very usefull reply!
  5. Nope, they don't wobble. The cranks are pretty* new. *tbc But in all seriousness they are quite new. I think it was a stone in them as the rubbing has almost stopped, and there are little broken up bits of gravel on my carpet. Also theres a big line going around my rim, so i also think that the bits beside where the pad goes on the cylinder (the 4 pointy things on each side) were hitting the rim as the pads were reeeeally close to the rim and they wore down alot.
  6. Measure how many spoke holes are in the hub, and how many are on the rim (should tell you on tarty). If its the same, perfect! If not, get a new hub.
  7. Hey, i have this really loud rub coming from posibly my cranks, its really more of a big screech, sounds like a sharp stone rubbing down a wall or something. What could it be? Possibly a stone in my freewheel?
  8. As far as I have seen, tarty has more stock than any other trials shop/website. Best of luck with this Danny, you never know, you could be the next Tarty
  9. Ohhhhh now i get marks joke! Haha, i epic failed lol Tgs has started to be hated for no reason. Streety riders such as mark, danny mac etc used to be creative and unqiue until everybody joined the 'i want to backflip of a building' bandwagon and now its not unique. The point is, we like what we do and you tgs bashers like what you do, we all have fun and at the end of the day its only trials. But i will agree that 24" riding is waaaay more creative than tgs. But i find tgs fun.
  10. Yeah seems like a good place. So if i wanted to buy one of your products, i could just pm you on here or what? Your best making an actual website for it so you can advertise in the webiste section of tf. Good luck with the buisness. EDIT: Sorry never saw the website bit in your post.
  11. Well, I managed to do a sidehop 0.000000001mm higher than my previous record, pretty cool, huh?
  12. No, you can't use snail cams, unless you drill holes EXACTLY where they are meant to be
  13. I was actualy about to post that. I know people who are like 'i wont be able to do this, i can sidehop 30 inches but 31 is a big step... Oh my god i did it! I AM GOD.' Haha, and gaps are actualy quite easy, i can easily do 6foot. (not flat to flat)
  14. I started typing that when he was writing it, I'm a slow typer :$ He should have goes of his mates bike if they have trials bikes and have a go of a mod and a stock, or even a 24" and see what he likes best
  15. Have a validated vote Also, it would be better to start on mod. How tall are you?
  16. That is wicked mate, good to see you back on the trials bike Keep it up, cant wait for your next one.
  17. its not big for going off lol. Sidehopping 9 pallets is something very little riders can actualy do. My goals i hope to acheive before im too old for trials (lol) is... Rolling Pedal Hop: 5 or 6 pallets Side'op: 6 pallets Gap up (pedal kick up, whatever) 5 pallets. side to back: 4 pallets Thats me being realistic of hopefully what i will acheive... hopefully
  18. I said arguably, also i want to try phatpads to see how good they are
  19. Lol, I was just joking Cos everyone calls 24" riders bmxers
  20. I didnt think there was a way of describing brakeless 24" riders so well....
  21. Jake can be some times, but bjh is worse.. his old account he wasnt that bad, but ever since his new account was made he has been a complete douche to everybody. Anyway, this topic is pointless haha.
  22. You already said that? I was meaning when i said im only interested in them as in i dont want people saying how good lgms are or any other pad i just want told about phat pads. And yea im buying some when i have ze moneyy.
