  1. Pretty beastly gaps there mate. What else can i say, Gapping Animal
  2. Lol yeh leaving the WD40 on probably isnt the best idea I hardly ever bleed my brakes :\ just like every 6 months when they get a bit spongey. However the pads have never got stuck though so thats a plus
  3. Your best bet is definitely a second hand bike, as you can pick up a relatively decent bike for £250 (you may then have to pay for postage). If you are a begginer, or still learning then i would suggest a mod, as they are much easier to learn on and being smaller, sometimes easier to handle, depending on your age. For £250 as a begginer, i would be looking at an Onzo T-Pro or something like that, you dont need anything too high-tech, just something fairly lightweight and generally well built, as i guess your not going to trash it around too much
  4. Thanks I find it alot easier to type with full grammar for a start, as opposed to 'txt speak", and i find when reading other peoples topics, who use text speak, its reallly hard to read fluently as i constantly have to stop and think about what they are actually trying to say I guess some people find the same as me so i prefer to type in full, although it may look longer Waiting for "tl;dr" :$
  5. Hi guys, was just wondering how often should i bleed my brakes on average? Im running HS33 on the rear and Magura Marta Disc on the front. I ride like twice a week and muck around in my garden sometimes also. Also, can someone tell me a good product for polishing out small scratches and making my frame look as new as possible? It has the general trials scratches, which i would mind taking out. Thanks alot.
  6. I would be inclined to do this aswell. A 2nd hand onza or something, they are relatively cheap and well built, for the riding you are likely to be doing as a begginer. I would most definitely recommend a mod as a begginer, as they are much easier to learn on, in my opinion.
  7. sweet, be sure to post pics when your done please, would really like to see how it looks
  8. Personally i think it will look pretty decent, a nice change from the standard green Zoo's that everyone else has. I guess the only issue is it may end up looking like an Echo ? The parts seem pretty decent to me, with cost in mind, however i dont run any of those parts myself so cannot recommend.
  9. Hey man, i have a 20" bike i may be interested in selling? I added you on MSN as i guess its alot easier to chat there.

  10. Hey man, also interested in your Zoo, can you also send me pics to jonno_alty@hotmail.com ? cheers bud.

  11. Hmm, pretty confused now. Dont seem to be able to edit that part out of my post :\. Thanks for the link to that thread though. :$
  12. Ah fair enough. Just seen your splitting it. Would you still be willing to sell the whole bike as before for £400? Idk if i have that much atm, but can look and get back to you, but obviously if someone else wants to buy parts dont hold because of me. If i were to buy i would drive up and collect.

  13. Hey, im interested in the sunday ride if in/near Southampton, but as im still validating i cant post, if it goes ahead could u tell me via msn? jonno_alty@hotmail.com please.

  14. Hey, the Zoo your selling in the 'For Sale' section, i emailed you about trading for my Monty 221 Ti but i dont really know how this forum works and if you got my e-mail, so thought id post here too.

  15. Hey guys, basicly used to ride trials a few years back, but stopped about 2 years ago as I had no one to do it with really (didnt know about these forums etc). Have been mucking around on my Monty 221 Ti lately, and really enjoyed it, so have decided to try and get back into the swing of things and take it up seriously again. Im now 17, as opposed to 14, so am just wondering would a 26" be more suitable for street riding than my current 20"? Seems to be a lot easier to street ride on a 26", however i am about 5'6" maybe a bit taller, and fairly small for a 17 year old, so unsure if i would find it a bit of a hand full compared to my 20"? If i was going to change, I would be looking at something like a Zoo Pitbull or Echo Pure, something like that. Also if someone could tell me the meaning of "Mod" "Stock" and "Modstock". At the moment as i understand Mod = 20", Stock = 26", Modstock = ???? I live on the outskirts of Southampton, so am keen to ride in and around the Southampton area (20 minute drive or so) so if you are interested in riding with me, drop me a PM or add me on MSN and we can arrange something (i cant post on the ride locations section atm ). My MSN is jonno_alty@hotmail.com Thanks alot for the help (Y) P.S. Vote for member would not go amiss
  16. I think it all depends on what sort of riding you are into. Stock bikes are more for the street scene, however a mod is obviously still fun on the street. Seeing as you are only 5'4", i would suggest a mod. I'm like 5'6" and i would say my mod 'fits' me perfectly, and i am comfortable handling it, however a stock may be a bit big and cumbersome for you .
  17. Hey guys, my name is Jon, I'm 17, from Southampton, and I ride a 2005 Monty 221 Ti. I used to ride in the assessed trials with Hampshire Bike Trial Club, however when my friend stopped going, I also stopped going (just turned out that way). Have decided to try and get back into it, so thought the best place to start was here
