  1. holy crap he was beast, especially for his age. Is that a megamo hes riding or am i wrong ?
  2. I was going to do this to my forks too, but spray them white. Once uve stripped the paint, how do u then spray them properly? 1 Undercoat (Primer), 2 coats of white spray, then 2 coats of laquer? Sorry to hijack . Also if i wanted to respray my frame (d.o.b. magnesium alloy) would i need a special type of primer/paint, as the paint may corrode the metal?
  3. Get your orders in! http://www.competitivecyclist.com/product-components/2010-chris-king-tapered-nothreadset-6661.272.0.html May be tempted to buy the tapered vesion, however im guessing it will be the more expensive version (more CNC?), and im unsure of how much difference it will make.

  9. Nice vid, although the dark bits on the bench made me strain my eyes
  10. If they bring out a 26" version of the Try-all sticky lite in white then ill buy it Looks sweet as. Would literally just buy it for its looks
  11. Black spokes would be beast on this. How much is this built up? Also mark, any date for the new rockman frames? or know the price?
  12. To be honest if building your first bike then alot of the bits can be picked up on here second hand for a great deal cheaper than brand new, and in fairly decent condition. As a begginer your going to fall off alot and scratch most of your parts, so buying already scratched parts, which are still in good mechanical condition, is going to save you quite a bit of money, and hopefully then you wont be so scared to try new things, as you dont need to worry about scratching your bran new parts . Tarty are allways good for brand new parts though. Price match etc.
  13. Are they the new echo rims? Very nice looking bike, hope it rides well and you enjoy trials.
  14. Lighter than the fourplay by quite a bit.
  15. Im liking the Bournemouth option, as its a large train line so people who cant drive can easily get there, also ive not ridden there and didnt really see it as a very big trials hotspot. Im guessing there are good spots in Bournemouth though?
  16. I see, im loving the boxes which tell you if different items are in stock/on order/discontinued .
  17. The new tarty website looks absolutely boss. Well done adam . The only critisism i have is when you click on a part, for example tyres, there is no longer all the difference makes along the top, which i particularly liked before, as if i was looking for a particular item, and i knew the make, i could quickly find it. If you could add that again, then the site is pretty much perfect
  18. The new tarty website looks absolutely boss. Well done adam .
  19. I play hockey and i have a pair of Puma compression shorts, aswell as compression tights. I think theyre actually decent, and i think i do see a difference when wearing them playing hockey, however this could be the placebo effect . I wear them trialing some times, but only really to keep me warm, which they do to a certain extent, but those heattech long johns are specificly designed for it so im guessing they are better. If anyone was wondering the placebo effect is when you think something is helping you, because your told its meant to, but really its a dud and does nothing, therefore its all in your brain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plecibo
  20. sweet riding in the snow . Camera seems good quality, and the riding was good
  21. He cant remember, he was that drunk . Nice bike man, looks sweet as .
  22. Pompey is quite a cool place to ride + easy to get to for most? Also bournemouth is a good shout. Reading is a bit far for me so id prefer bournemouth/pompey but if it was in reading id still go
  23. Cheers, i thought that would be the case, as less length means less leverage, so harder to pedal i presume. Ill just stick those on for the time being =p.
  24. Can anyone tell me what difference putting 158mm cranks on my stock as opposed to the current 170mm's while i get the stripped one fixed? Id obviously put both 158s on not have 1 of each .
