  1. All you need to do is buy the correct dot brake fluid, get an 8mm spanner and some plastic hose from a car shop, window wiper hose is the best, i use it and its perfect. Just get the correct size so it fits tightly over the bleed nipple. As for bleeding, just follow the instructions in your hope manual and its so easy. You honestly can't go wrong if you do what it says :ermm:
  2. There's the link, but i'm afraid Trials shack is down at the moment
  3. Nice one dave, the vids are slowly but surely improving, not sure about the riding though :S nah, only joking, some nice moves in there, ups to front wheel are nearly as good as mine now! :D All the hookage at the end is getting better aswell. Nice one, keep them coming :D Philippo King
  4. Good point, and i was just wondering what people use technique wise... I mean i do strokes backward and fowards until the rim surface has been covered in that section. I think the sweeps i do are about 10cm and i try not to go over the same bit twice, and i have the grinder at about 45 degrees to the rim... Does all this sound ok cos i feel it is still hit and miss performance wise, as in sometimes the break is ace with a new grind and sometimes its poo! Any other advise? phil

    R.i.p

ahhh thats crap, i feel for u and all his family and friends man. thats aweful. RIP
  6. i have had it for a couple of months now and to be honest when i first got it i wasnt impressed - hope had forgotten to pun in the seal under th bore cap so as i pumped the lever fluid seeped out. not a good start. However i soon got that fixed, and the next thing i noticed was the flex in the caliper. while the brake was good and powerful, once the lever locked up it could easily pull a bit further. this was due to the caliper flexing because of the emmense power of the brake. However after a couple of hours riding this got a little better, and soon i was used to the slightly different feel to that of my mini. Now all i can say is i love this brake, and i would never go back to a normal mini. Very powerful, and great modulation, feel, looks and weight. Overall a big (Y) for the mono trial

    Disk Break

Do you mean your rim sits high in your forks? If so then its noting to do with your hub... its more likely to do with rim diameter or brake mount position. Therefore, having a disk would be fine cos it's nothing to do with the position of v-brake (or magura) mounts. The disk rotor attaches onto the hub, abd the caliper onto the fork disk mount, so rim poition has no effect.
  8. Exactly! nice point, well put (Y)
  9. Well dave, i always used to watch the MBUK euro trip video and just go, "oh my god, that guy is crazy" about martyn ashton. So when the oppertunity arose for me to try it (this oppertunity being my bro buying a rigid bike) i did, and to cut a long story short, i loved it and just got addicted. I just think its so different, and there arent rules to follow like in footie. And of course the main thin is, i love it. And i just enjoy everything about it, the adrenalin rush, the slow but steady improvement, the feeling of achievement. You just can't beat any ot those things in any other sport in my opinon (Y)

  13. Exactly!! do what danny says :P This is what i did for my gal for christmas: Made a box out of card and carefully covered it in gold wrapping paper. Lined the box with red tissue paper... Next i got her some very sexy but not slutty lingere form ann summers and layed this neatly in the bottom of the box. Then i got her some of her favourite chocs (Lindt Red chocs) and scattered them losely on top of the lingere... Next a bottle of perfume (Kenzo Flower) layed nesseling in the chocs, and to finish it off a red rose diagonally across the top of everything. Looked amazing. :) Cost £68 in total and was worth it. Just seeing the look on her face was payment enough... not to mention what followed :P :P If you go for a similar idea, make sure you do a home made box, just adds to the effect and is more personal :- and make sure any chocs used are individually wrapped cos if they melt or just get the other stuff sticky it just aint romantic!!! Anyway, good luck and go for it :) Phil
  14. Ok guys. There is one thing that no body has yet mentioned, and i believe it is the definitive, one and only, king of spreads. I'm not posting to be quoted and told i'm wrong, because i simply KNOW i'm right. Nothing can beat Sun-Pat Creamy Crunch peanut butter. It was and is the king of toast. Unfortunately, it is nolonger available, but Extra Crunchy comes in a close second and IS still available. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1 Place toast in toaster untill it is golden brown 2 swiftly remove and whilst still hot, sparingly apply an even layer of extra crunch peanut butter 3 Make sure the peanut butter is melted before consuming. WARNING! After consuming this spread Addiction will soon follow

    Lmao

oh my god!!! what kind of world are we living in when there is actually people who want to sell that kind of thing! lol! :S weirdo!
  16. well loads of things... i know i should be going on about world peace and no poverty etc but i'd probably just be really selfish with the power. :) i would try make things better (like the world peaace thing) but i wouldnt introduce any crap like all people are equal, because it wouldnt make the world a better place. Whatever good is done... someone somewhere will suffer or dislike the new, "reality" and of course i'd totally oblitourate chavs! they really have no meaning or place in this world! But thats just my opinion...

  19. yeah just a little late.... thats been up for ages!
  20. Yeah... trials is developing, and obviously this is what the designers see as the frames of the future. If there's most demand for these types of frames then why not produce them! Are you changing frame then tom?
  21. There is nothing that I can say that hasent already been said. I never met DJ but there is not a single post that makes not want to meet him. The word ledgend has been used many times in describing DJ, but the prominence of the word love has shone through... I am utterly proud to belong to a community who stop what they are doing to praise 1 person at the hardest times. The more I think about it the less I can make sence of why such a tragedy has happened
