  10. Pads: TNN black pads in metal cnc backings (prototypes) TIme used: Around 3 months Rim used: Echo tr with a variety of different grinds, from completely dead to fresh harsh grind and medium. Brake used: Magura HS33 with metal echo cylinder washers with standard magura clamps (water bleed ) Also (very recently) Magura HS11 with TNN washer less clamps (magura blood factory bleed. Brand new brake) Both with 4 finger levers. Also the onza Limey 320 frame has a integrated booster ( still a wee bit of frame flex) What is your opinion of a working brake?: Lots of hold and bite ( to help with landing things sketchy and in general) NEED a beastly noise too. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Used TNN lgms, TNN belaeys , Heatsink yellows. All in metal cnc backings (never ran plastic backings, SORRY) In comparison the TNN blacks are much better all round. Review: Great hold in both wetland dry conditions and a great noise. Thinking of a way to describe them the other week, the conclusion I came to is its like running tar without tar!! I've had them for 3 months and they don't go bad unless it's monsoon season outside in which case most wouldn't ride ( hardened test rider me.) In dry conditions I cannot Fault them, they willingly slip. If you completelycock something up. They haven't worn that much at all in the time I've had them. Overall TNN are onto a winner with these pads. Me and other TNN test riders have ridden these pads and I think most have seen only positives. I think they will be being released soon and I think they will be loved through out the trials world. Hope this helps pad buyers in the future.
  11. So the Onzas had a few changes! Had been using a borrowed wheelset and brake for other reasons, but got it all sorted! My own wheelset is back on, along with a new chain, tyres, brake and brake clamps. The TNN clamps look and work brilliantly, the tyres are awesome and the new chain matches the frame Impressed by the 2011 Hs11 too, really comfortable, although the reach does need winding in a tad. Best its ridden and looked. Big thanks to Sam Kidney (Echo Lite 09) for repairing my wheels and getting it all built and set up for me
