  1. while we are talking about it what are the tabs for anyway?? i just bought some magura brake clamps a while back and the tabs are new to me since ive never seen them before, but because of them the bolts that came with it arnt long enough to fit all the way through into the frame
  2. great video, i enjoyed the whole lot, keep it up
  3. If its a magura louise which is what i had once before then there should be a little black rubber seal on the lever, take it off and inside there should be a little allen key nut, just screw it in and that moves the pads closer to the disc. If not just look around there should be a little adjuster somewhere on the brake.
  4. your best of buying a bleeding kit first if you dont have one, they are not that much. and you said the lever comes all the way to the grips, have you ever tried moving the brake pads in a bit?? ive seen someone before thinking they need to bleed when it was the pads

    Vimto!

i remember when i put a bit of coke on my front disc pads, the brake was amazing, but the sound it was making was way too loud so had to wash it off so i didnt annoy anyone
  6. Nice bike, ive got the same stem as you and its great for the inspired frame
  7. I liked the pictures and they are also really good
  8. Looks good for £100 i think its a good deal
  9. great riding, loved the whole lot
  10. nice pictures and its always great fun having a group ride.
  11. go for a onza zoot from tarty bikes, cheap and a great bigginers bike
  12. echo SL is a great choice but its a bit pricey, so i have got the new 2011 magura hs33 and it works great. And i prefer water over oil in brakes, but make sure to add something to stop it freezing,(i used a bit of vodka ) its bound not to freeze as its coming up to the summer, but its always nice to be prepared.
  13. nice big pictures i like the gold parts you put on.
  14. it was slightly boring, the first 42 seconds where all the same thing pretty much
  15. i remember when i was learning them, it takes a lot of copying from other people and focus and a lot of practice and you should learn them in no time.
  16. i would think it would come already bled, and when it says you have to attach the brake cables it probably means you have to put the lever bodys on the handle bars. dont really know but its just a guess edit: ive just noticed in the first post you put you mentioned it was a stock frame, you sure thats it because the link showed a 20" onza blade.
  17. the side with the splines for the bottom bracket tool faces outside and it would be a good idea to put a bit of grease on the threads.
  18. A friend of mine has both his try-all rims grounded and he uses a pretty harsh grind, while grinding the rim try hold the grinder at about 45 degrees angle for a good grind.
  19. looks great nothing like a bit of street trials
  20. yeah i bent the lower part and i was half way through installing it, then the top half split. I bought it from nearby shop called iron horse cyclery. But all is fine now, i borrowed a large top cap from a friend and i knew it was way too big, so i cut down the bits of metal and it sits in the steerer tube like a dream, just put the top cap on and its all fine now.
