  1. i meant an alternative but i think the problems my badly made chain tool i think it's had it i'll just buy a proper one and get it over with thanks for the replys
  2. are those one of the tnn prototypes they're testing out or some other pads glued in?
  3. cheers guys, do i tighten the sprocket itself in the vice cause theres no freewheel type tool to clamp in and keep it in place like when removing a freewheel if that makes any sense?
  4. splined what an arse i meant threaded! sorry its a fixed trialtech sprocket on a try-all crank and obviously there are no grooves for any tool like a freewheel to keep it in place, usually a chainwhip and a vice works straight away when removing them from fixed hubs but this is not budging
  5. has anyone got any tips the bugger wont budge
  6. for £50 you cant complain i suppose but the only thing oldschool about that is the weight, i certainly don't rememebr any +50 bb 375mm chainstay mods from the old days
  7. get the pretty KMC boxed one for £9 and save £5 Trialtech are robbing bastards (i say this having every Trialtech component possible on my bike) but it does my head in how trials companys rebrand shit and think they can take the mick! even the box is no frills no way to warrant their price at all although it was probably tarty's idea not them
  8. that looks a beauty, i was expecting a bright green but that's still gorgeous, you must get some pics outside in the light i don't think that pic will do it justice
  9. i've got a pair of black urbans with maggy and disc mounts £35 when you have the money
  10. bit off a dead end question that, everyone has their own preference there's no one straight out of the box frame that's perfect for everyone it would help it you mentioned the style of riding, your height etc otherwise i doubt anyone will bother to help you
  11. you're talking about 90g differnce to the weight weenies that may aswell be 1kg
  12. doubt anyones that stupid but expect your frame to crack in the brake mount area at some point
  13. unless your going to go all out and get a purple headset and rims i dont see the point
  14. it was a joke but if you want to get arsey about it an 05 mag weighs about 315g with magura mounts which weigh 80g in themself so if you use echo brake clamps you're saving 40g or so making them 275g so pretty much the same making you even more wrong
  15. facts like 260 + 50 = 300? lol
  16. i appreciate you clearing that up because i've only started using this site again in the last month or two and kept reading conflicting reports, i'f that's the case surely the heatsink cnc backings make them more value for money and therefor better back when i started we had two choices magura black or magura red oh how times have changed!
  17. a 1000 pardons sir sorry for not being on here to read every single thread like you, a yes or no would have sufficed but act like a tool instead
  18. from what i've read they're not the same compound as Michel's
  19. if he's testing them out for them they're most likely not on sale yet
  20. Jesus Christ, i'd go as far as to say best riding i've ever seen, those failed pressups were gay but who cares when he can ride like this lol
