  1. I am doing, i'm just trying to figure out if those holes are supposed to be there? They look very shoddy for holes created by the manufacturer. If they aint meant to be there i'm not building it up riding it and hurting myself when it snaps in two places.
  2. I have done and like i say they all seem to have bashrings not plates.. Hence I'm asking TF
  3. Did this frame come with a bash plate? I have purchased one second hand of someone, and it has a couple of ominous holes around the downtube and yoke. Not sure if they are supposed to be there or not. They are only 2mm wide if that?? I'm asking because the pics i can find online seem to all have bash rings
  4. Yeah, although if you find one that has already been spec'd it will have been ridden more. Therefore in my opinion it would break quicker? Where as one thats been left standard and sat for ages will not have been ridden so hard and be in nice clean condition and then upgrade with new parts. Can't fail
  5. cool let us know how you get on, but no matter what thanks to paypal you should be good to get your money back. And if the seller offers a refund make sure you say your not willing to meet the cost of the return postage. As its not your fault and you shouldn't have to spend any of your own money on failed transactions.
  6. If your not happy with the condition then send the ebayer a message and see if they offer a good enough resolution. Failing that you'll need to open a case against them.
  7. The only times my bikes have ever creaked any place other than bb is when i have cracked/snapped them. Have a really good look! took me a day of riding a bike thats creaking to hell to discover the crack. Be really careful
  8. Amassing frames if you ask me! First parts i'd personally change first on a standard t-pro is the rear wheel/hub, brake pads & bars (get some risers on it)
  9. I recommend the local engineering place, you may end up buying a helicoil kit and use it once.. And it is a tricky thing to do having watched my other half do it. So if not confident don't do it yourself
  10. Finally another mod frame, downside got woken up dead early by postman and its pissing it down. And has wrapping something in duct tape ever been a good packaging method.

  11. Cant find them on chain reaction, what make is it. Can you measure the length of the bit with the coil and pin? Ill see if i have one sat on some old Vee brakes i have on the off chance they might all be the same size and it will fit.
  12. You need the pin and the spring to be all one thing or setting the brake up is pointless, infact impossible. Have you tried chain reaction?
  13. Trackstands are sooo important to all area of riding a bike, basically i couldn't ride a bike at all a year and half ago. I used to fall off and hurt myself on curbs. So my boyfriend wouldn't let me ride it untill i had learnt to track stand and endo and the basic moves. Then it spiralled from there. Now i get the wow! how did you do that? Or the "she's brave" welcome to TF and t-pros are ace! get the front end nice and high! Hope you stick at it!
  14. I'm sure i have one of those somewhere! not so fussed on it myself.
  15. Joining the convo late, paint your own rotor get the nail polish out or model paint
  16. See one of my friends dumped someone on those grounds and i have to fully agree with her, and your girlfriend. It is like having a total disregard for your partners health.. Getting yourself checked is easy enough, or you could go get checked together would be like a date and everything
  17. I really miss the happy and angry thread.. :(

  18. These are 20x155mm but they cut really well. And fit nice on any bike Edit: Hadn't noticed foxes snidey comment! And lots of people want pink look at the polls f**ktard
  19. yeah clear vinyl is not good try sticking it on a black background dependant on ink quality
  20. Can the 3rd not be cut out of the prefured colour or will the white bits not be there? But yeah looking good
  21. Front BB7 rear Magura. I do love the look of nick cookes bike to be honest! Haven't seen any pics of matty turners inspired :/ Yes i live under a rock at times And that bottom link is the sorta frame look its going to have but trials forks bars & stem plus dedicated maggie mounts
  22. Last night me and my boyfriend both sat down and sketched this with Geo that should be good although i disagree with his 40+ bb rise i think 50+ would be nicer Just a vague sketch for now. Reach: 610mm CS: 340mm HA:73 BB: 50+ And yes it has a seat post.. Will be running the shortest mod stem TrialTech make and TrialTech disc only forks with an uncut steerer tube. And high rise bars Waits for hater's....
  23. Funny thought for frame repair. Jaf Bikes does carbon setting thingy, why not wrap thick layers of duct tape?

Carbon looks cool, and is effective. Duct tape is ghetto and wouldnt be so effective!

Even still it might work.. Duct tape is amassing :P

    4. onza pro series guy

      onza pro series guy

surely carbon is more structually capable than duct tape, though? Surely the frame would just flex at the snapped point, whereas carbon prevents travel between the two 'halves'?

  24. I'll get there Just need to sell my 24" street bike to fund it
