People don't like change. It's 'easier' to put up with something and just be 'slightly' unhappy. That's why people have jobs they don't like, live somewhere they don't like etc etc. The majority of the population are just too lazy to get up and make a change in their lives.

Things are progressing well on site, conversion of a Grade 2 listed restaurant into 13 apartments, it's nice to go back each week and see the changes.

Make an effort when she gets back from work, saying ignore what's happened as it's just the past and you can turn the situation round quite easily. Make dinner/go for a meal or something. It's completely up to you if you want a good weekend, it's not hard.

Great day looking at a new site this morning and then on site in Sheffield this afternoon. Amazing day

Just finished 'working' on personal property plans. So motivated at the moment. Life is great.

Absolutely loving seeing how much life can change in the space of a few months. 'Work' no longer feels like work and I'm happy to be there. Advice for everyone - do what you love better than others and the money will follow. Still at it for the next couple of hours and I don't even want to stop!

Amazing first week - found out today that I'm going hospitality to watch England play at Headingley tomorrow!

HA. Well that escalated quickly.

But there's a tiny tiny portion of the 22,000 that are actually active.

Quite small - 20 staff. It's fine saying oh we can work it out ourselves - till it's the boss. One Managing Partner who is the person I spoke to. The rest are ok. But meh - that's in the past now I can't wait for the next adventure.

Haha nope what I'm doing now doesn't require references. Even so, I still believe I'd get a good reference as he took it as constructive criticism - I think! Haha

After three years of working there, I had a lovely hour long rant at my 'old' boss about everything he needs to change. A nice feeling.
