  1. WD 40 + hammer + force If doesn't work WD 40 + hammer + much more force but it's stupid way if you want these cranks to serve you long
  2. buy and ride what you like more
  3. No, if you choose good place to drill and do all carefully.
  4. Most of all I like to go big, to ride on 2+m heigh stuff, to do some big drops/multidrops on speed/big bunnyhop gaps and now - some bunnyhop drops (when you need to jump over something and land far below than starting point) (but often afraid of it) and to do something original, otherwise I find riding is boring.
  5. It feels so awful when you just ride and doing something on both wheels. Also it makes bunnyhops almost impossible or very hard to do.
  6. Don't think so. My mate rides with 2 time bigger dent with ~0.7cm hole in center of that dent for 1+ year and no problem(zhi z1 frame).
  7. What about modulation on bb7? And 180mm would be enough?
  8. I tired a bit of brakeless and decided to ride with brakes for some time, but don't know what to choose. I like quality of hope brakes, but people says that they're not so good. And really don't know what to set on rear vees or magura (05 or 11)? I want: 1) reliability 2) modulation at least on front (stoppes/g-turns/etc.) 3) good bite and hold and also good "feeling" of brakes And also I hate grinding rims so much..
  9. So, I can't choose what stem to use because every of them has own advantages. Although I almost decided 100x30, because I hate that "stool-like" feeling when bars are too close to legs, also I feel that with 100x30 stem there are alot more control on back wheel. And also with 100x30 stem I feel comfy because it higher that 70x35. Now I'm learning barspin/busdriver and it much harder to do with 100x30. Briefly - I want to perfectly adjust stem/stackers combo to myself. My height is 183cm. And now I feel pretty comfy with 100x30, but don't know - maybe there are something to improve. So, the options is: Buy uncutted Inspired forks (235mm steerer tube) to be able to put MANY STACKERS. (what advantages I will get? or stackers amound depends just on riders heigh?) Buy another stem (90x35 or something in the middle between 70x35 and 100x30)? I really like both - trials and street and it's really hard to choose, because setting up more streety stem makes trials less enjoyable.
  10. If you want to do some big crazy dangerous(and degree of danger is strongly higher if you afraid, risk of failure becomes higher because of uncertainty) stuff but afraid and have mental block. For me solution is to turn some angry/heavy music then few seconds to get ready AND DO IT.
  11. Maybe I shoot some video this season, I have only 1-2 people that can help me with that and now in my city only 3 trials riders, so this would be pretty difficult. Now I like to go big, to fight my fear forcing myself to do some big(for me(1.7+m)) drops, dropgaps, bunnyhop gaps, etc. The only thing I know - I hate to ride if I can't diversify it.
  12. After watching some new Tim Knoll's video: I'm puzzled with some question. Why most of riders are copycats? Why there are only a handful of people that really creative? Is that some imagination failure disease epidemy? What difference between creative riders and usual riders? How you ride and why? Regards to me - I'm finding my riding a little boring, repeatly doing some usual moves, and want to make it more diverse.
  13. That was creative! Creative riding is the best, f**k heights and hundreds of copycats.
  14. The main problem is my arms. They're getting tired too fast and recovering too slow. What can I do? Just ride more?
  15. pour on some H2O2 on it and ride like nothing happens
  16. Street - check But where is trials?
  17. I am puzzled by this problem because I want to ride more often, and it seems that I don't get enough rest or something. For example: 1st day(after ~2 days of rest) - some great big crazy riding for ~3+ hours, balance and tech is great, fall-offs is rare, heights is great and also I have no fear. Then if I go for a ride the next day: balance is unstable, tech is not so good (some silly mistakes), fall-offs not so rare, and I'm afraid to do some big stuff. So, what can I do with it? And why in some day you have great balance and everything, when the other day your riding may be awful?
  18. So, afterall I hope that there are no stupid myths about brakeless anymore like: Brakeless is dangerous (Don't ride brakeless without fullface if you don't want to loose your teeth!) - no more than trials with brakes. Also you can't fall off due to bad brakes. Brakeless is very difficult - for me now it's easier to hop on rear wheel without brakes, than with brakes. It may be only a little difficult at first.
  19. Guys, I know how dangerous it is - not to swap chains periodically. I know how old that chain is because there was no rational reason to lie about that chain. But the fact is - it was 3 years old chain and what was snapped is chainlock. My crazy friend rides 7 years old chain without helmet and this chain already snapped in a year ago and he still rides on that chain. This is madness generated by greed. Now I ride on some new kmc 810 and will swap it every year. This is very important. because I want to ride instead of recovering from injuries. Half link is still 100% shit. I hope my friend would be lucky, because I have nobody to ride instead of him.
  20. >first thing one would do after buying a used bike is putting a new chain on? Why? I don't think previous owner did something like that:
