  1. So, I decided to do some upgrade and to try some new geo. Already rode this babe few times and what can I say: This frame is more trialsy but still good for street. All back wheel stuff made easier. Quality of welding and overall quality generally is the same as Inspireds, furthermore there are some improvements: bombproof fullyCNCed dropouts that can break down the walls. Also I liked a lot this very handy and extra reliable tensioning system. You setted it up and forgot about for months. And also there are nothing to broke. Plus, as I said earlier, there are less rolling resistance with that setup. And of course clean look. Adjustable brakemounts are fine too. You may even setup 185mm rotor with 180mm adaptor. Overall my bike became a little more reliable and "rollable"(lol). P.S. If you want to get one of these cuties with some really HUGE discount feel free to PM me. First few frames will be sold out very cheap.
  2. Why buy Arcade, when you can order same frameset from Marino twice (or maybe three times cheaper) with the same reliability, with the same cool look (better than alu FAT frames) and also with some options + you may change geo + if you ordering 2-3+ frames it will cost pretty cheaper?
  3. *Don't have* must be in the topic. Isn't it really STUPID? 1) You can broke hanger (that may be really hard to find and you will have to wait and of course - spend money). 2) You can broke tensioner. 3) Tensioner spring weakens with time + tensioner by itself eventually bends. 4) Even if tensioner not bent - it gave some unnecessary friction in the drivetrain => more rolling resistance. 5) More unnecessary weight. 6) Looks like shit. 7) Bike without it becomes more reliable. Why is this beautiful tensioning system isn't in every bike yet?
  4. On his site now there are some attractive terms: production time is only 3 weeks and some new cool options. BUT, I want to know how do matters stand now with 1) Quality (heard about some disgusting cases with f*cked up geo and roughly welded frames) 2) Real production time + delivering time?
  5. So, what the difference? And also what hub is better - hope 2 pro trials or chris king(and what CK hub to choose for street-trials)?
  6. For example there is 2 frames with the same geo but one frame has 16cm seattube and another one 14. BB rise, chainstay, head angle, wheelbase is the same. For example.
  7. It's a good idea, bud treadmill is for pathetic stupid idiots so I don't have one. It's like rubber woman or near beer you know.
  8. Alright I'll try it. This is my last deal with FWs if this not gonna work. What about hope hubs? They are really so good?
  9. I rode only "gentle for FW" street for this 2 hours. Lol I know what puts stress on FW.
  10. Soooooo. After dergreasing and stuff, I rode for 2 hours. Street without trials. But when I tryed once to get on back wheel and do few little pedal kicks FW SKIPPED! WTF? It was only once bud I don't think it's a good sight. So what do you think? FW is SHIT and must be replaced or what? My ECHO FW lasts 1 year without any bedding in at the start of using and no problem untill now. WTFTFTF. I buyed new one and want i to work at least 1 year without problems.
  11. So, I opened the cap and washed away all the grease with WD40. Then I screwed the cap back. 1) FW sound became sharper. 2) If I shake FW it sounds like rattle - Is it BAD or OK? (it's bearings).
  12. So I just open the cap and spray some WD40 in to wash away the grease and that's all?
  13. 100%, absolutely? This FW will die in agony if I do not degrease it? Srsly asking. Have some expirience with one-month-lasted tensile 96 and afraid of the same fate for this brand new FW.
  14. I forced my vees to feel smooth like maggie, but I can't set pads ideally parralel to the rim. On last 1/4 of the level travel (when ideally pads should not touch the rim) pads (or one of them) starts to touch the rim.
  15. It is obvious that on street-trials bikes your results in TGS moves would be weaker than on modern "pure" trials bike. How much is average difference? Just interested because for ages I did not ride TGS and now I do some TGS because I want to increase my heights'n'lengths in static moves. Also I found that starting to ride brakeless too early is not so good, and combining brakeless riding with "brakewith" hepls alot with progress.
  16. So, the alternative. Vees with hard pads and grind + linear cables are awesome. Don't know why nowadays there are no vee frames/forks. Today was my first ride with brakes after 14months being brakeless. And this is AWESOME. So much things to do in whole city, so much new opportunities. So much new lines and stuff to ride on. Even that I have 5 FIIIIIVE punctures today for 4-hours ride I'm very happy.
  17. cool to watch but too low skill level, It would be nice to see some skilled trials rider on fatbike
  18. What about bb7 +203mm on 24? Why all streety riders (who prefer discs) uses rear hydro discs and no one uses mech discs?
  19. Yeah, I will try some good vees + I found ECLAT CORE linear cables! In our city this is a miracle to buy it.
  20. Well, this is what I have. If set this on my element with this booster slaves would be not parallel to rim. It seems like booster must be wider to set slaves parallel to the rim. Maybe buy and try new evo2 clamps? And also I don't know what this things are for?
  21. Unfortunately I can't setup these ultra-cool red TOMAC 1998 maggie with 1998 original evo clamps, so I've setting up some deores with TNN LGV. Should I use this cable guides (pic) or it's better to have one-piece cable? And what about flexy noodles or just set regular ones?
