  1. So I'm missing spacers then. That makes more sense! Know where I can get them without buying another booster? Or will I have to look in the freecycle thread?
  2. How? D: If I put it over the top of the clamps, the top clamp won't clamp down. If I put it under the clamps then it might as well not be there... Educate me! And go ahead and flame. I should know how to fit one by now. -.-
  3. Is the orange almost fluorescent? Cos I'm not sure that that'd go with a fluorescent yellow rim...
  4. ASAP. About the get my last mod bits, then I'm sorted.
  5. Oh, sorted. It's gonna take quite a poke, it's less sticky piston and more stuck there and wont budge. I'll do it in a bit. should be revising right now...
  6. I have no idea. I think it's a 2004 model. It's very metallic and has no coating of paint or whatever it is like the 2005s do. No red TPA, it has a screw on the lever blade.
  7. Hahah. So how do I take it all apart? I can remove the lever and the hose, but then I'm still stuck with the body around the piston.
  8. So I've got a HS33 and it was bled using water a while back and now one of the pistons doesn't retract properly. I think it's the piston in the lever that doesn't work, but I'm not sure how I can test. But my hunch is that it's the lever piston because apparently that can expand when waterbled? So my question is how do I get to the piston to dry it out and then re-bleed with mineral oil?
  9. It was my first trials bike and I found it great to learn on. You can mail me about when you want it sending, and how you want to pay, etc when you're ready to.
  10. The reviews on tartybikes are good, and it seems like a respectable price - but has anyone noticed anything bad about them? Just checking before I buy one. & if anyone has one for sale, I'll probably be happy to buy it from them.
  11. usually bikes go for about £50 more on eBay. I've found that you can haggle prices on PinkBike, but it's completely up to him. Onza make strong bikes for beginners to bash around, and that's important. I wouldn't tell a beginner to get a thousand pound lightweight bike, because chances are that it'll break within a couple months... If i'd wanted to start on a 26" bike, i'd've probably gone with a hitman, to be fair. especially if it's single-speed.
  12. Because the hitman has gears, it might not allow you to get used to the gearing of a "pure" trials bike. If you're looking for a first bike, it's often a good idea to get one second-hand. I bought my first two bikes from http://www.pinkbike.com it's free to use and they have their own trials bike section. for someone who's 5'8", a 26" wheeled bike is fine, but I might have a look at 24" too, as they will also be slightly lighter...
  13. I'll sell you my onza t-vee for £50 if you want it?
  14. Is this just the CLS, or every Python? I've heard good things about the 05 python both while riding and on TF, and I've found one at a decent price. EDIT: and the WB is either 1030 or 1045, which is like a stock, too.
  15. Well there are frames like the Onza Ice, which has WB 1025 and +70BB, which is more in my price range, but i've also had my eye on a Czar 07 which is +55 and 1020, i think... i take it that the CLS Python was another amazingly geo'd frame? googled it, but it won't come up with much info...
  16. Hey all-knowing community. Any chance that you could tell me your favourite long, +60 or higher mod frames? I'm looking for a new frame and I'm not sure where I should go to find one...
  17. if i've got all my parts together by then i'll be there.
  18. i love you, you beautiful man.
  19. how much has it cost you? £55 is a bit crazy considering that I had a mod sent for £20?
  20. Sellingmy Zoot and I need a quote for postage via courier. went to parcel2go.com and it tells me that no courier can send a 120x30x90cm box. Either they all have vans the size of biscuit barrels, or it's lying. Help?
  21. are there any other people that you can ride with? I have found that I learn a lot quicker when I'm with other people. But you're still a lot better than me. ;p and nice vid.
  22. what does it stand for? D: know it's a style of riding, but I can't figure it out...
  23. and also keeps your bars fresh and ready to face the day - no matter what it brings.
