right to start off i'm not sure where to put this but it needs to be put up: i have just been going through the rider information cards from the indoor event. every rider should have filled one in and paid the £1 entry fee however looking through the cards (i have all of them) there are at least 4 riders i know of who didn't sign in. not signing in means you are not insured to ride, not paying means you are cheating yourself and others because the more money i have to put into these events the less often they'll happen! £1 is not much to pay for an evenings indoor riding but some people just didn't bother signing in and therefor i have to assume didn't pay either. any riders who is found to not pay or sign in will be warned and if i find out anyones doing it on purspose they will not be welcome to indoor events. we put alot of time and money into these events and for some riders to risk the future of them by not signing in and therefor not being insured to ride is not acceptable. here is the list of riders who did not sign in at the last event, if there was anyone else please come foward and addmit it, i will be less impressed if i find out by watching the videos etc... those who didn't pay up and sign in know who they are... you guys owe north wales bike trials club £1 each, dont do it again! sorry if it wasn't clear enough on the night, i have now made it perfectly clear and dont expect it to happen again.

yes everything this time will be constructed more sturdily so nothing should fall apart or break! i'm spending lots of time building the sections in preparation for this event! party in a field sounds like a plan and a half, i'll try and find a field yes some stuff will be bigger than the last event but you'll still have to be creative with your lines!!!

if you want the best then a north face prophecy jacket is the way to go, its goretex so its very very waterproof and breathable but its £140. for something a little cheaper, berghaus do an excellent wind+water proof shell which i'm using atm, go into your local outdoor shop and explain to them what you want, if they seem to be retards who know shit then tell me how much you wana spend and i'll find you the perfect jacket from work (blacks)

i'll put the feelers out and see if i can sort a deal on accomodation, if not how do people feel about camping? i could sort that out no probs... the music will be dealt qwith don't worry! my stereo will replace the million megawat PA system!!!

theres a YHA youth hostel in conway, do a google and you should find it, otherwise you'll have to wait til friday for me to find some cheap b+b's no matter how long you've been riding you'll be able to do the course, there will be some BIG stuff but also some small stuff and your free to pick your own line through the course. if anyone is unsure of what i mean by a bike battle download the chris akrigg final run vid which is his winning run in the nottingham bike battle... as phil said this event is going to be a shed load better than the last one :rolleyes: oh yeah and theres prizes (Y) dont worry you dont have to pull the biggest move of the night to win, just ride and impress the judges. for example if we get 30 riders who all do the same 9 pallet side hop and only do huge uci moves and then someone comes in and pulls a manual to fufanu then plays on a pallet stack and everyones like 'holy shit that was cool' then guess who will win!!! it is simply down to who rides the coolest and most impressive run, big is not nessecarily best!

gutted mate, sorry about that. i'll try and make sure round 3 is term time :) can you guys make it over for any of the weekends before to help build the course? you get a bit of riding in that way of course!!!

right the dates have been confirmed, the next indoor event will take place on saturday and sunday the 26th and 27th of march, thats easter weekend so we've got the bank holiday monday to ride ogwen :) format will be as follows: sat - open practice to all riders sun -bike battle style competition limited entries the finer details will be put up as they are decided but one things for sure, this event should be even better than the last one :)

event details have been confirmed march 26th sat 12 noon start open practice sunday 27th inddor competition - bike battle style 12 noon start likely. there you go everyone, all the nitty gritty details will be sorted by the end of the week. tom

it seems to be the leadin uci style guys are bean poles but look at the streety riders, they're not all giants! for natural i would ride a huge bike 1100 ish but street 1020 is great so i guess it depedns on style, what sort of moves you wana do and a bit the bike. btw i'm 6ft1" and can't gap or up nearly as big as you!!!

will are you able to make it over for the meeting tommorrow night? 7pm at the sports hall where we had the indoor event. meeting first, indoor ride second? ps: to all the non locals this is not an indoor event, its a planning session for us only and a little ride afterwards so don't try gate crashing...

phils informed me that the weekends i keep choosing are clashing with all sorts. the firts weekend i chose is the koxx days in france and the 2nd one is the bike show so chances are the event will be the 2/3rd of april. middle of easter :(
