If you could add a reply below, we can let you know or you can let us know when a ride is going on. Thankyou, Craig.

  7. Hi guys a few of us will be out and about southampton tomorrow evening if anyone wanted to join us for a ride out? let me no , Craig
  8. Yes i did see if you took the lock ring off to open the freewheel you would get more contact but i didnt have a tool to remove this either! anyway. after spending nearly a grand if not more at tarty my bikes finally finished!! = ) and the Echo control is soooo nice on the back wheel it just wants to stay there im very happy = ) and Tartys service is second to none never had such fast delivery and ive got about 50 stickers, 5 chainstay protectors sweets and a tshirt lol
  9. exactly! the tabs are so bloody thin!! i just popped into work work again, basically had to strip the guts out of the hub then use several washers nuts and m12 studbar through the hub clamped it all tight and it only just came off the tabs on the eno are fooked!! haha
  10. i did indeed use a bolt to clamp it all in place! i will get pictures eventually just takes ages to upload from phone ect.. so after spedning nearly 90quid on a freewheel and then 10quid on a tool recommended by tarty it now is not coming off.... its less than a month old!! the tool doesnt look like it fits in the freewheel properly, but they obviously no more than me.
  11. Alright guys, im trying to take the eno off of my rear hub and mounnt it on my cranks, anyway im a mechanical technician by trade so i no what im doing before you all slate me. basically i mounted the tool in the vice, put the wheel on with the bolts in ( abit loose to allow for the initial move ) we applyed plenty of force and then bang, all four corners of the freewheel stubs to undo it rounded off, well sheared off leaving a rounded edge.... How the hell is this going to come off now! was a brand new freewheel aswell and now its buggered Brought from Tarty bikes : Eno freewheel and this cyclo freewheel tool stating: At last... a good quality removal tool that fits ACS and White Industries ENO freewheels well (plus Echo, V!Z, Try-All, Monty etc)! - As used in our workshop to great effect on all freewheels. - This tool works best when bolted to the crank or wheel, then holding the tool in a vice and using the wheel or crank arm for leverage. - High quality steel construction with large flat section at the rear of the tool.
  12. thats pretty cool so you could have a freewheel at the front instead of that back! im not used to all this new wave stuff = ) thank you for the link though, so the sprocket holds the bash ring in place
  13. So i notice most cranks these days dont have any arms on to mount a sprocket or bash ring?? Can someone enlighten me on how this works if you have a rear freewheel... possibly send me links to a good crank bash set up i could use thats relatively small
  14. so basically use the 22t and 18t freewheel as ile get used to it....
  15. Any ideas on how you get up a wall landing on your front wheel as in instead of straight onto back wheel not just riding into it :/ i find every time i try to do this i nearly loose grip of the bars....
  16. As ali said it seems like your just tightening your wheel bolts and they before they clamp your wheel to the dropout fully they are going tight into the hub! very strange though :/
  17. So i just went out for a ride and as suspected going from a 16t cassette cog to a 18t freewheel hasnt worked =( im peddling way too much! it also slipped about 5 times , this maybe due to it being first ride..... soo are there any good 16t freewheels??
  18. If you can find it buy a video called cunning tricks and dirty stunts. its got martin ashton martyn hawes and hans rey in, i used to watch this over and over again when i was younger and learnt everythink from it = )
  19. Not feeling the cranks though. any suggestions.

  22. I no they are different things, what i was saying is ive gone from a shimano parralex hub to a eno freewheel so the change in that has made it feel a hell of a lot different and i can ride with a 18t instead of a 16t now...? maybe just in my head but feels fine = )
  23. I have found that the amount of engagements on the eno has more than made up for the 2 teeth increase its lovely to ride = )
  24. Just brought a white industries eno freewheel 18t? i was reccomended this from a friend. only problem is i was running a 16t on the back and found that perfect, currently running a 22t on the front so what can i do about this problem... or will i get used to riding the 22/18
