  1. Seen this through inspireds facebook page, really smooth, nice job man
  2. Yeah totally agree, you cant be too drastic with anything in terms of weight and dieting, you have to do things slowly and not too aggressively, otherwise you can be left with things like excess skin, etc
  3. Thanks mate, yeah I tried some ridiculous diets I must say! Yeah also salt intake can make a big difference, fluid retention is a major part of peoples weight, and if you cut out alot of salt and drink alot of water you can drop a few pounds just in fluids well it worked for me, everyone is individual
  4. I've lost four stone in the last 18 months by cutting shit out of my diet and.just generally being active.. I've always been a grazer and would eat out of boredom, and drank alot of fizzy drinks, so I decided to cut the fizzy stuff down to a weekly treat, and.only ready my meals, in my case it was usually brown toast, or cereal, something small for lunch, and whatever dinner I wanted.. In terms of activity I just started playing the odd 5a side with my mates, and.getting out on the bike more I tried alot of diets, and.none worked so the way I looked at it is, a man is supposed to take in 2500 calories a day , you eat right and you'll never exceed it, and with activity you start losing weight, its worked for me anyway
  5. POC receptor flow, bought one last year directly from POC for 90 euro, quite comfy and light enough, plenty of colour and size choice
  6. My problem is that I've never ridden either the fourplay or hex, so tough to judge, and they don't sell them in Ireland so that rules out a test ride ha I think I'll just go with the better deal at the time, whichever is in better condition, and has better components for the money?
  7. So the hex would be a good buy then?
  8. Haha, didn't want to start a fight! Any info is useful info, obviously I am looking for streety advice, but its useful to know about other trials elements too, so I no what people are talking about! Ha
  9. Thanks for all the replies, no it doesn't hurt at all, I'm looking to learn as much as I can! Yeah I was thinking that the 24 would be a better option overall, with it being a bit more manoeuvrable and more parts available like
  10. Cool so overall the 24 is an easier bike for street riding?
  11. Yeah id be trying streety stuff mostly id say, so you reckon a 26 would be much the same?
  12. Thats another thing i was wondering, would height come into it, Im six foot like, but again is it stem height rather than anything else?
  13. Yeah thats what i thought, because the dj i have now is 26, and when it comes to the front end control or rotation its pretty tough, although that could be because of me! ha
  14. So if i bring up the stem height, they would feel much the same you reckon?
  15. Hey all, Probably going to be laughed at here But could someone explain to me the major differences between 24 trials and 26? Ive been looking for an inspired as some of you might know, and I've seen some hexes and some fourplays im seriously considering, especially a hex thats in the for sale forum. My main issue is, whats the difference in the ride and the things you can do on them? i understand the wheels are bigger and the geo slightly different, but is the 24 easier to ride? Any help is appreciated thanks
  16. I'm only starting out, looking to get an inspired like. but i'm from drogheda in ireland , and i was thinking the same thing, theres nobody anywhere near me who does trials, its the same with dirt jumping to an extent, galway and wicklow seem to be the only spots for dj in ireland.
  17. Hey all, the names Bernard,I'm from Ireland and I'm 24 I've been riding dirt jumping for about 3 years after a fairly bad arm break in my teens doing down hill took my off bikes for years.. been mad to try trials and street trials for a few years now and I'm currently looking hard to get an inspired. Thanks
